Don't run short on your pet's food! Especially if you're ordering from Chewy. They out of stocked my prescription cat food and never let me know. So now I'm scrambling to find our cat's food locally. All's they had to do is let me know so I could have made other plans instead of waiting for something that never was going to arrive!!!

I’ve always had a great experience with chewy until now. I have a 17 year old 4lb yorkie who is on prescription Medication. After my vet approved the medication, I called chewy to assure I would get it on time. When I was told of arrival time, I asked if I could pay to expedite the shipping option and I was told no and there is nothing they can do (this was Friday morning before it was shipped). Item shipped Saturday night, and will not get to me till Wednesday. I’ve called since to see if they can use my prescription on file to give me 2 days worth of medication (one single pill) until I receive my shipment. I was able to find one local pharmacy who carried it and they refused since my vet prescribed 10 pills and 10 were sent. Options were given to cancel my order and transfer the medication which will only delay me being able to get it. The pharmacist and staff are completely inhumane and like robots. I’m a healthcare provider myself and I’m beyond disgusted that first, shipment of a medication would take so long, second, the refusal to change the shipping option to a faster route even despite wanting to pay for it before it was shipped and Third, to refuse to dispense a single pill (which 10 or 11 pills would make zero therapeutic difference) even though they have a prescription at hand to see that. Instead all they can provide is options which will only delay availability of the medication to a sick dog which time is the issue in the first place- zero compassion or common sense.

They were very helpful with my veterinary needs and prescription dog food. It arrived quickly. Support team was great!

We recently had to put our sweet old dog down. I contacted chewy b/c I hadn’t opened her recent box of food & was hoping to return it. I received a heartfelt email back saying to just donate it & they'd refund me but the guy, Jordan went on to say how sorry he was & had so many sweet words of sympathy. But it doesn’t stop there. A week later we received a bouquet of flowers from them with another beautiful note. My heart is touched. Never seen a company do so much & care so much. Always great customer service but this went beyond anything I’d ever expect. Amazing. And thank you Jordan

I've ordered from chewy.com for a couple years. Every purchase and customer service interaction was easy. My dog was a 4 yr old 100 lb female rottie. I ordered a rain coat to use when I had to take her out to potty while it was pouring rain, it didnt fit. I called chewy.com to find out how to return. They refunded, no questions asked and told me to throw it away or donate it. I was very surprised how easy it was. I found out my baby had cancer in November, her bday was Dec 23rd. I ordered a large amount of treats and gifts to spoil her for her last bday and last Christmas. The order was supposed to be delivered Dec 20th but it was lost in transit. Not surprised as it was right before Christmas. I called on the 20th, the nice lady reshiped my order and I received it 2 days later. I ended up getting the original package and called but they told me to keep it. My baby got very spoiled by both me and Chewy. As my baby's cancer was getting worse I was worried she'd have an accident in the house and ordered a couple pee turfs, she passed away the next week. They were $100. I called after she passed to see if i could return them. The girl was so very sweet as I explained through tears that my baby passed and never used the pee turf. She refunded the $100 and explained chewy.com understands the importance of our fur baby's and how hard it is losing them so they dont want me to hassle with the return. She told me to donate them. She was so sweet and understanding. The very next day I had a beautiful bouquet of flowers at my doorstep with the sweetest message from her. Chewy has never disappointed, and has always provided exceptional customer service. One of the best things about their customer service is that there is never a long hold time and no annoying phone tree. I dont have to listen to a long phone tree, selecting numbers for certain departments trying to talk to someone. I always get to talk to someone right away.

Today I had to look for a place for my dog to get medication so she won’t die.My dog has a heart murmur. I have ordered the medication twice from them. I ordered medication beginning of the week on Monday. Sunday last of dogs medication. I called and asked were is my medication. They said I might get it Monday. But probably Tuesday. Mondays a holiday. So they said we can find a pharmacy to take medication. They couldn’t find pharmacy open on weekend. They then said that I could go to emergency room and of course I would pay for the appointment and X-ray because it’s a heart murmur. Chewy will not give me the prescription either. So I’m screwd! Chewy put my dogs life at risk and now I have to figure out how to get medication on a weekend so my dog won’t die.

I am so impressed and pleased with Chewy! I have had 1 issue over the last 3 yrs, and they immediately took care of it. Very quick shipping and excellent customer service! HATS OFF CHEWY, YOU ARE ONE OF THE BEST!

I love the autoship…when they actually keep things in stock. 4 times now items that I have on autoship that have not been in stock so I still have to go and get it at the store. The last time they gave me 10% of the next order, which was nice… but when I applied the code to an order $50.98 before tax it only took off ~$3.50 which is not 10%. Not sure if it was a glitch or if they just didn’t expect someone who can easily calculate percentages use it.
