I was totally blown away by the thoughtfulness of this company. We recently lost our kitten and I’d messaged Chewy regarding a refund for an item I’d ordered but arrived after he had passed. Not only did they give the refund but a day later a beautiful arrangement of flowers arrived offering condolences on our loss. Thank you Chewy staff, your service was above and beyond my expectation ❤️

During our sad time after our Corgi, Miles, traveled over the rainbow bridge, Chewy reimbursed to us the cost of his last bag of dog food and asked us to donate it. Today we received flowers, a particularly hard day as Miles ashes are ready to be pick up. Thank you for everything you do. We are a customer for life. The Spears Family

Warning! Don't use this website for their pharmacy. They will not ship your pet's medications on time. My poor dog has diabetes and relies on insulin and this is the 2nd time that she will have to go with without doses.

After using chewy for just a couple of months, our dog passed. When I asked for a refund for unused medication and told them why, they sent my family a bouquet of flowers. It was so unexpected and so kind. Thank you so much 💓

This is a shout out to Lisa in Customer Service who was kind enough to send me flowers after having to put my dog down. There are not enough words to express my appreciation of such thoughtfulness. They arrived on a day when I was feeling especially sad missing my dog. Lisa, you are THE BEST!!!

First of all this is a great company! Their customer service is second to none! Including nordstroms! They have a great selection of pet related items you can throw in when you get your dog food. They have a great selections along with all the varieties of food. Pooper scoopers, cat water fountains! They are conviently located in the Midwest and shipping is so fast I get my items in 1-2 days!

I was a customer of chews for a long while and after things with corona happened everything just started to go downhill. The last time I had ordered from them it took a long time for it to get here I had done the order on the 29th of march and it took till the 12th of April. With them only using FedEx the box that had the pet food in it was a bit on the mangled side so yea.

While Chewy has an excellent selection and timely service they can't be trusted anymore using Subscribe & Save if you want to stop it including removing your payment from their site. Starting 3 yrs ago I had a new rescue putting the food on subscribe & save as I had done before. When my previous pet died my recently ordered canned food couldn't be returned. Chewy told me they 'never' take food back. I wanted that point in this review as that's what I was using S&S for. When my subscribe & save deliveries started outpacing what my cat was eating I requested they disable S&S. They have done this before with no problems. Then out of nowhere food started showing up again. After this I called and asked them to cancel the service. Ok, that should have required me to call and start over, me thinks. When I got another shipment my husband suggested I remove my payment card from the account. Brilliant! I didn't think of that so I did. They were out of stock due to supply chain issues so the long run of nothing made me believe I nailed it. Unbelievably, another shipment shows up and I'm hosed for 3 times the cost on food I don't need. Now I have a years supply of cat food!! I called my credit card company and explained the whole story and staunch no return on pet food which will eventually get used and they offered to put Chewy on a 10 year block at no charge to me. Chewy did attempt to use it sending me a message my payment was refused. Score!! The block worked. That folks was 'the only way' I was successful in getting them to purge my payment records from their system. Of course now if I need something from Chewy I will have to use another card. I will 'Never Ever!' give them access to auto orders and reccomend you manually auto order products. If you are on S&S formally remove the payment from their site and a credit doesn't charge for short short blocks. American Express put the longest time because that shows up as a ding against them as a merchant. I might add they're the only company that's ever done such a thing to me. As for selection and service they're a good online provider so my review is only to warn in granting access to your payment source.
