I have been a customer of Chewy for many, many years! Today was the first time I received nasty customer service. I had fraud, someone cleared my bank account so all of my credit cards were frozen. I had to call chewy to tell them I had no way to pay them to freeze my order. The woman on the phone was sarcastic and nasty to me! This was enough to leave a bad taste in my mouth. Chewy has changed.

Placed an order for a crate to keep my cat in while he recovers from surgery. Wanted to try Chewy, give business to someone other than Amazon. Evidently that was a mistake. Got an email that my "information needed to be verified". So I called, gave the information they asked for on the phone, and thought that'd be that. Following day, received the same email and that my order would be cancelled if I didn't get it taken care of. So, I called again, again provided the information needed. Today my order was cancelled. I have no idea what was missing, what the issue was. I've made multiple orders using the same information, shipping info and PayPal payment info, in the past week alone. My cat needs the space to recover safely, so now I'll have to go to Amazon to get it on time.

I have used chewy for a really long time for my cats, dogs, and birds. Having my supplies delivered on a regular schedule is fantastic for me. The reason not 5 star is because they use FedEx and FedEx is the absolute WORST. Often I will get text message that my order is arriving that day and it does not. They lie and say delivery was attempted. They will also claim that you rescheduled the delivery.

I've been buying from Chewy for 4 years, until today. My last order of $140 of canned pet food was delivered to an empty house next door, where the box was left outside for days. This happened once before, and I was told to discard the cans because they were damaged and unsafe for pets. Chewy then sent me a replacement. Today, I was told that I had to to return the cans before receiving a replacement. I asked the customer service agent if the damaged food was going to be resold, and she just said it was the "new policy." I told her that I would be returning the items for a refund, but that I did not want any replacement. Why are they reselling damaged pet food??? I have spent thousands with Chewy over the past 4 years, including auto-buying this $140 order every 3 weeks. If they didn't believe me, I would rather they just not refund me at all then to be reselling damaged pet food. I have cancelled all of my auto-ship orders from Chewy and will no longer be buying from them.

I used Chewy often for my Maggie’s medications. I almost every time had what I needed in a day or two. A few weeks ago my Maggie became very sick. Took her to the animal ER where she had to be put down. I called Chewy a few days later to stop an auto ship for her flea and heart worm pill. Daniel was so compassionate about our loss. He called the pharmacy to stop shipment and found it already went out. He said for us to donate to a shelter and credited my account. BUT!!!!! Daniel went even further and sent me flowers in condolences for my Maggie. At a very dark time for us Chewy and Daniel made our loss a little better by their compassion and thought-fullness. Thanks So Much Daniel and Chewy.

I need to leave a review because I just had an amazing, stress-free, customer service expressive with chewy.com. They have always been excellent in the past, but this week I had one of the most horrendous customer service experiences with a different company, and it really made this experience chewy.com experience stand out as great. We ordered a box of cat food from a brand that we always use and opened a couple cans, but it was a weird color and my cat wouldn't eat it. I asked if it could still be returned and the response came that I would receive a refund in under thirty minutes. Thank you thank you.

Nicole went above and beyond correcting an error on my order; she understood my stress and concern due to running out of dog food for my babies and she resolved the issue quickly and efficiently. LOVE their customer service!

It's always a pleasure to buy my pets supplies from Chewy especially rushing the meds for one of my dogs who has been suffering from cancer. I had to cancel auto ship on meds as unfortunately Angus passed away. Tierra, the customer service I chatted with (5-23) went above and beyond to help me. And even sent me flowers for Angus. That was so touching I was in tears!
