What was once a reliable company has now into turned into frequent disappointment. As a long-time auto-ship customer I never had to worry about not receiving my full order. For the past two orders after my order has been shipped I've received the dreaded "sorry we dropped the ball" email that one of my items is out of stock. Here's a 10% coupon on your next order. This never does me any good because by the time the item is back in stock the coupon has expired. My cat has so few flavors that she likes so when one is missing it leaves her with next to nothing. What was once a convenience is now a hassle and something else to worry about every 8 weeks.

Worst customer service ever! I canceled and autoship and it was shipped anyway. I could not afford the over $145.00 that was being charged. I was told I would receive labels to send back. Didn't happen, I was told a supervisor would contact me when I asked because I received 4 different responses. I never received a call from a supervisor and I have a product that I don't need. I will NEVER purchase another item from this company. Horrible customer service.

We have ordered out dogs prescription food in an autoship from Chewy for years. The level of service had always been stellar and we have referred many people to them. Recently our dog was diagnosed with Cushings. The medication is $200 a month from our vet vs. about $140 from Chewy. Ordered the meds and the order sent to the vet showed a FL address. We, and our vet are in NC. The vet could not fill a script that was supposedly being sent to another state. I called three times and each time was told that the address the company showed was indeed a NC address however each time they sent the order to the vet a FL address appeared. Asked to speak to a pharmacy rep and was transferred to Tricia. Tricia clearly was annoyed as she came on the oh in and verified the order. As I tried to explain she interrupted and told us “there is no FL address on file so I don’t know what your vet is talking about.” I told her that a rep from our vet was online with us to try to help solve the problem and she yelled at me and told me “she didn’t have to do a conference call and could help me when I could help myself.” She then kept threatening to hang up. I finally told her to do so and she did. I could not believe the level of service that she offered and nor could the vet- tech. Fortunately, Pet Co offers the same products we need for both the meds and the food. They offer the same autoship option and the prices are identical. I choose where to spend my money and I choose to spend it where customers are treated with some semblance of respect.

After hearing rave reviews from my bestie I decided to give chewy a try. Placed an order on June 16th they took the money asap for the original order. I ever set up an auto ship (I was quickly emailed that an item I chose was out of stock ever though the website still had it listed as in stock and available.) Then on June 22nd I got a cx notice, that they needed to verify information. Called and spoke to a nice CS rep who verified everything and said she was sorry and couldn't understand why there was an issue or why it had taken so long for me to be notified of an issue and that it was now resolved and hopefully my items would ship soon. (She couldn't tell me when.) Today I get another cx notice. Call again and get told yes everything is verified the dept that handles that is backed up and they don't know how long it will take. I've cx my auto ship and won't be using again as I had to go out and buy the items I ordered any way. Now I wait and see if I ever get the original items or if I have to call them again for a refund.

I have been a customer of Chewy for a few years. Their customer service response, rarely needed, were always prompt, friendly, and helpful. Then I had a problem with delivery. FedEx would not deliver to my front door, only leaving it blocking the entryway of the budding. The first time, I asked Chewy to look into it. They said they would be contacting them and apologized to me. The second time, they told me they were changing delivery characters and to be patient. The third time, I only got a vague "Thank you for contacting Chewy, please give your fur babies belly rubs for me" I am 55, have health issues, and live in an building for people with disabilities. There is nobody around to help bring it to my door, and neighbors keep ringing my bell to let me know it is out there and needs to be dragged in. Last time, I used a neighbor's walker. Although I was unable to lift it onto the walker, it enabled me to push the box down the hall in front of it about 30 feet to my door. I tried to talk to FedEx directly and got nowhere. I informed them that I would have to quit and find a carrier that would deliver to my door. All I got in response was another "Thank you for contacting Chewy" form emai. I'm very sad, because I used to be very enthusiastic about their customer service.

Chewy 100% has the best customer service! My older dog developed DM, he began getting very picky about his food, I was trying everything. I tried a food which he hated, I called to ask if I could possibly exchange and without hesitation they told me to donate the food to a shelter, issued me a refund, and we tried another. Once he passed in January I contacted them to see if I could return some items that I had on auto ship that were still in the shipping boxes and again without hesitation they asked me to donate the items, issued a refund, and sent me flowers. This was so thoughtful I honestly couldn't believe it! Whenever I get another pet you will be my go-to for everything I need! Thank you again for being so kind and thoughtful.

Absolutely horrible! Do not place an order with them you will never get it. They just keep giving the run around while your poor pet needs the prescription.

Chewy is amazing, they replace items with no problem and take the time to make sure your customer experience is great. I called about a missing item and was talking to the representative about how we just lost one of our dogs and the next day I received the most beautiful flowers from them.
