new customer. put in an order cause i was down to 1 week left of dog food. order sat in getting ready to ship status. after 5 days it still hasn't shipped. sent email and my response is i need to call them to verify it was me. call them and listened to a lot of typing and then was advised it would be another 5-7 days for the order to arrive. canceled order cause now i have to go to a store to get the dog food. i never received any email stating i needed to call them about the order, guess they just want the customer get pissed off and call in about their order. will never order from chewy again.

Ordered dry food a couple of days ago haven't had any response from the from the seller. So I emailed them again asking what's taking so long to get my order shipped... Their response was the next day they're having some kind of issue verifying my account... So I emailed them saying I want to cancel my order and they were insisting for me to call them and talk to them in person about it. So I finally emailed them again asking what's happened to the order which I was told yesterday it will be shipped any day ..again they were saying there was some kind of problem with the order so I said cancel my order and I want my money back so I called them which I was hung up by two people .. finally talked to the third one and they canceled my order and I was told the money will be returned to me 3 to 5 days.. worst nightmare ever.

Chewy is a terrible company. My view of them changed after my Doberman, Lemmy, passed away in February of 2021 and I called them to cancel an order for her. I advised the representative that I needed to cancel the order due to her death. No problem. Fast forward to the past month starting in June of 2022, I begin receiving emails to buy Lemmy something for her upcoming birthday (which is 7/25). I reply to them that she is dead and passed over a year ago as relayed to their representative when I canceled an order. I am told they would remove her from the system. This was on 6/16/2022. Today (6/30/2022), I receive a birthday card for Lemmy, my wife sees it gets upset, rips it up, and throws it away. Later today, I receive an email from them titled “Don't Forget a Birthday Treat!”. Seriously Chewy! She’s dead, leave us alone!

They are unbelievably generous. I wanted to run a food bowl and water set for about $20. They said donate to a local shelter. I returned the favor by placing another order…. And I have a goofy address so it wasn’t delivered to me, but somewhere in my town. They immediately sent another order No charge. My neighbors found the package, so I intend in donating that too!

I have always been loyal to Chewy, however after this past month I will never go anywhere else. I emailed customer service to let them know that I was unable to use the food I had just bought because my pet passed away before I could use it:( Not only did I receive a full refund, but a very heartfelt email from Justin T. Then a few days later I received a beautiful bouquet of flowers with deepest sympathies. This company went above and beyond the call of duty and their personal affects are unrequited. Thank you for the love and support…it was something I would not have expected from such a large corporation! I’m very proud to be a chewy family member! Much love, Bridget and Avery

Chewy went out of their way to fix my problem. My order included a liquid pond chemical as well as a variety of dog and cat food and litter. When it arrived, I found the pond chemical had been crushed in transit and leaked all over the contents of the box. Apparently, FedEx reboxed the contents throwing all of the items into a large plastic bag, further making worse the problem with several of the cans of food being smashed. When I called customer support, the agent went out of her way to correct the situation, including resending the entire order which arrived the next day! I couldn't ask for better help and support! Thanks Chewy!

I have heard good things about Chewy.com so I decided to give them a try. Sadly,I am very disappointed with them. I placed my order with them and 4 days later I had to contact them about my order and when it would be shipped. The reply I got was there was some confusion and I needed to verify my address since it was my first order. Now it seems to me that as soon as I placed my order that they would have seen it was a first time order so why didn't they send me an email right away asking me to confirm the things they needed instead of me having to contact them. So now my order will not be delivered until 10 days later. I am so disappointed. That is why I did not opt for auto ship because I wanted to see how long their process took and I cant find my fur babies food because everywhere is out of stock,so I thought why not give Chewy a try and try another grain free brand because they don't carry my dogs food. At this point I am not sure if I will order from them again.

Chewy is the best !! If there is something you aren't happy with then they fix it. I can tell you from my personal experiences that they truly care about your pet like it was their own and they care about the humans too. They are amazing and a company that truly cares.
