So let’s begin with very bad service and rude customer service. First off they advertise one to three day business shipping which is false advertisement my AutoShip was a week to receive. I called in they supposedly were going to call FedEx to have it moved up next thing I know they contacted FedEx to return the packages to them and did not want to refund my entire amount of money for their mishap of shipping it for 7 to 10 business days. It’s not like I needed you know four bags of dog food that I ordered needless to say now I have to go to the store to pick up my dog food.

Never order from Chewy.com
I tried to order a variety of products, but my order was canceled. So I called their customer service number, and the person I talked to could not help me with my order, and said this was an issue with my credit card (even though I know damn well it wasn't), so I called the customer service line of my cardholder, and they were unable to hook me up with a representative. I will NEVER order products from Chewy.com again. DO NOT ORDER from this website.

I'm several months late on this but we…
I'm several months late on this but we would get our medication for my Chihuahua Precious through this website. It was way less expensive then the vet we would get them from and they were always responsive to any questions we had. Unfortunately my baby girl Precious passed away on April 30 of this year. We had just received some of her meds the day before she died. In doing so we called to let them know and to see if we could return the meds and we were able too. A week later Chewy sent us two beautiful bouquets of flowers with notes on them giving us their condolences. I definitely didn't expect something like that from a website but it meant so much to us and we greatly appreciated it. I would highly recommend this website especially for inexpensive meds for your fur babies.

I ordered the amazing frisco washable male wraps
I ordered the frisco washable male wraps in the whales design on 7/26/22 and they were delivered on 7/27/22. This is a second purchase of these amazing furniture saving wraps. They fit our dogs great and give me peace of mind knowing I’m not goi g to be finding puddles. I have five males and even though they signal to go out, they still insist on inside territory marking.

Useless Service at Chewy.com!
II always value Chewy.com and their services till today which has changed to the worse. I’ve ordered my 3 dogs RX from them, and I know they usually call my vet to verify but they also told me as long as I email them the RX they're good with that which is helpful since my vet will no longer verify anything unless we buy RX from them. So, these last 3 months I been ordering their annual Nexgard & Heartguard and one has to take insulin and the other takes a pill for his thyroid and they never called my vet to verify since I email the RX to them. Well, I emailed Chewy a week ago to have the RX refill for the one for thyroid and called 2 days later to make sure I'll get the RX before we go on vacation in 2 days. The pharmacist said we should receive in 2 days. This morning I receive an email they couldn't read the RX that I email them from my vet so I called in and resent my RX hoping they can overnight the RX. The pharmacist did tell me they receive the 2 emails from me but needed to call my vet which I told her they won't verify as I told the others before, and they told me to email the RX to them. She went ahead and call and sure enough they wouldn't verify it as I told them. So not only they wouldn’t approve the refill the told me to mail my RX instead of email which would take more then 2 days. I talked to the supervisor, and she was as helpful as a dead fish. So, they lost my business and now I need to see where I can get my RX for my dog.

Amazing Customer Service and thoughtful flowers
I have been using chewy for my 20 year old cat for about 3 or 4 years. When he was diagnosed with renal failure, I need to get prescription subcutaneous fluids, needles, IV lines and Science Diet K/D cat food. All required a vet prescription. Their system is easy to add the vet office and they will contact the office to get approval and then send out the orders.
When our beloved cat had to be put to sleep, I contacted them and asked if there was any way to return the unopened case cat food - which costs about $65 for 24 cans. I was put on hold and they offered to refund me for the price of the food and his subcutaneous fluids which were in an unopened box from them. He declined so fast that I had all of the items still.
The customer service has always been great with Chewy in the past 4 years anyway, but this was incredible. It is so hard to make the decision to put your pet to sleep, but then to also have $150+ of pet supplies that can't be used it's frustrating too. The customer service rep said I didn't need to send back the unopened items, but that I could donate them. I had the perfect place in mind, since during the pandemic, our vet changed his subcutaneous fluids from one type to another and I couldn't return them.
I encourage anyone that has unused pet supplies whether they are prescription or not, to find a good local shelter or rescue organization to donate them to. The first time I donated to the humane society (the lactated ringers), and I donated the food (I ordered the wrong type by accident from Chewy) to the Dancing Cat in San Jose. This last batch I took straight to the Dancing Cat since it was products for elder cats like the K/D prescription food, nauseous medication, antibiotics, subcutaneous fluids, the IV lines and needles. The rescues and shelters depend on donations of money and supplies to help them find homes for pets.
To top it all off, I got a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a sympathy card from Chewy a few days after his passing. It all means so much during such a hard time for our family. We were able to enjoy the flowers for almost two weeks. Thank you Chewy!

POOR Autoship Credit Card Security
Chewy’s security behind its AutoShip program puts customers financial information at great risk. Credit card information was taken from me through Chewie and over $4000 of merchandise was charged. While I was able to reconcile with my credit card companies and my bank, Chewy refuses to accept any accountability for what occurred. Instead before any refund would be made, I was asked to sign a settlement agreement. Anyone who reads this should make sure that they are not storing any other credit card data with Chewy.
