Chewy is a company that goes the extra mile, and then some. My best bud of 15 years, my Cat Soco, whom I rescued when he was just a kitten, passed away last week due to complications from diabetes. We woke up to find him so weak he could barely stand and not 20 minutes after arriving at the emergency vet and learning his prognosis were we there with him in the room to see him off to the next world. An awful, heart-breaking experience we'll never forget. The folks at Chewy though were there for us in a way you don't expect from companies. When my wife notified Chewy of Soco's passing, not only did Chewy cancel and refund us for a pending order but Chewy issued us a significant refund for diabetic management food we had just recently received (food that we donated to our local animal shelter). The Chewy rep's email to my wife was so kind and empathetic, as she made sure to pass along her personal condolences. If that wasn't enough, days later we received a sympathy card from Chewy. Two days after that, a bouquet of roses. We were brought to tears. We put the flowers next to Soco's collar and favorite toy as a tribute. Chewy has our business for life.

The worsts customers!!! they lie to you, don't keep records of you calling or chatting and they send you damage products then they make it sound like its your fault that its damage.

I ordered some insulin and needles from chewy for my dog lily who was diabetic and only had the supplies for 2 days and my dog lily didn't make it! Her diabetes got the best of her! So I called chewy back to see if I could send it back or donate it and they refunded my money right away. Then my doorbell rang and here was a dozen assorted beautiful roses from chewy! What a great company chewy is! I will diffently be ordering from them again and tell all my friends and family about Chewy! Thanks 😊 Pam

Placed a large online order on Nov 12.. they sent an email next day saying I needed to verify my billing info..I called immediately and updated the info…the next day email me again saying the order would be delayed due to internal issues…on the 18th I messaged asking about the order which hadn’t even shipped..today the 19th I get an email saying the order was cancelled. I called customer support and was told it was my fault! As far as I’m concerned…if you can’t get orders out and you treat your customers like dog 💩 shot you hopefully won’t be in business much longer!

A neighbor gave me 3 new bags of dog treats as as a gift. I used 1-1/2 bags and had one unopened bag left. My dog became very ill recently and spent two full days in the emergency vet hospital. As a result, I decided to change all food and treats. I called Chewy to exchange the unopened bag. They refused saying they only refund/return the purchaser. It's now mine as it was a gift so I feel I should be able to exchange. I don't want to involve my neighbor and believe this is a very bad policy for customers.

You are losing customers because of Fed Ex

I called to cancel an order because my dog died the day before. Monica, in Customer Service, was so kind and compassionate. Not only did she credit my account, but the next day I received flowers with a lovely note! This goes above and beyond, and I cannot thank Monica enough. It reaffirms my belief that there are still good people in the world. Thank you Monica and Chewy!

I love chewy but the delivery service they use fedex is horrible. I order from chewy once sometimes twice a month and everytime fedex misplaced my order or they lose it. Then I have to go through the process of filing a claim or reordering my stuff which ends up not getting to me in time. I'm to the point I don't want to order from them anymore
