I am a long time Chewy customer but service has significantly declined to what I’d call abysmal. I ordered some meds for my two dogs and asked Chewy to contact my vet which is recommended by Chewy. I didn’t hear anything about my order for almost 2 weeks. When I contacted Chewy they said they only had approval for one of the two dogs. I never was informed about this. Chewy sent a request to my vet again, who told me they never received the first one for that dog. The approval was sent and I again didn’t receive notification that the meds shipped. When I called, the customer service rep said she saw the approval in their system and didn’t know why their pharmacy didn’t see it. She transferred me to a pharmacy tech who rather rudely said both I and Chewy’s customer service rep didn’t know what we were talking about, they didn’t have the approval. When I insisted that they did, she went to talk to the pharmacist, and then came back to tell me I was correct, they did have the approval and were filling it that minute and immediately shipping the meds. It’s now more than 2 weeks later, and again I’ve heard nothing. No notification of shipment, no meds. My vet won’t approve a prescription to another pharmacy because she only can issue one for the same medicine. So my dog doesn’t have her meds and I’m dealing with a nightmare called Chewy. I won’t order another thing from this poor excuse for a customer serving company.

Chewy has always made ordering products for my cats and dogs easy. Whenever there was a problem with shipment, they immediately took steps to resolve and ship again. Then I recently contacted them to ask that they update my profile to show my cat Sunshine has gone to kitty heaven. I was so overwhelmed by their response. The email they sent was so sensitive and moved me to tears. Then I received a rose bouquet. Thank you all so very much for your caring, sensitive response to my difficult situation. I've never received such a thoughtful response and am a customer as long as I have pets! Thank you all!

When I read about chewy I was excited...it came to canada and I decided I would try it...I order my animals food well in advance....I ordered in the 18th of January 2024....not only have I still not received my package- it hasn't even been shipped or processed....I ran out of food....AND have now been forced to order more from a different place...which puts me in a pretty crap situation - I budget myself accordingly. I'm disappointed, and let down...I have no faith in this company...ive received no apology nore any update. Boo chewy canada. You lost a bit of business

Chewy.com made it easy and convenient to find the dog food we needed at a reasonable price, as well as other items. The most outstanding thing they've done, they sent us fresh flowers when our dog passed away.

Chewy is hands down the best pet company I have ordered from. The customer service is always top tier, everyone is so nice and helpful. I recently had a loss of a pet and Scot and the team sent their condolences with flowers 💐 I feel as tho a piece of my soul is now dedicated to chewy haha. I love you chewy!

I am always so appreciative for their help and support. They are truly a customer focused company and really go the extra mile.

This company is amazing! Not only does it make ordering specific dog food and medicine easy, they also care. I had purchased prescription food and medication for my dog from Chewy. When the time came & my dog passed away, they were compassionate and caring. They even sent fresh sympathy flowers. Absolutely above and beyond! I will continue to use their services in the future.
