I used to order from Chewy a lot and loved them but now they became a mess. They sent me a confirmation that the items were approved and then never sent the order. So i reached out to the customer service. Jennifer replied, she said that she didn't see the approval and asked me to reach out to the vet. She didn't want to hear that i received the confirmation and didn't want to reach to someone at Chewy to verify. She sounded very tired. I am extremely frustrated with the service and don't know what to do with my order now.

Chewy is so convenient and they are super fast! It's great not to have to haul big bags of dog food from the store to the house. Plus, they have such cute toys that my dogs absolutely love!

I contacted Chewy after my dog passed away expectedly. When I asked about returning some of the dog food that I had purchased, the Chewy representative expressed their heartfelt condolences, and offered to refund my entire purchase price, even for the products that were opened or used. They said there was no need to return any of the items, but instead just donate them to a charity of my choice. I was overwhelmed with how generous they were. To top it off, they sent me flowers the next day. Chewy is an amazing company. When the day comes that I'm ready to get another pet, I can guarantee that I will again be a loyal Chewy customer.

I've used Chewy for several years. They have a wide range of products which I've used. The problems are with their 'autoship' program. Staff seem programmed to put recurring items in autoship on the pretext of saving money. My experience is the shipments are often overlapping, give little or no email warning or notice, then ship. You are then fighting to return the items for refund. Other items are in separate autoships which overlap and should be sent only when ordered; not on recurring basis. RX items are not always correct, despite you telling the associate you need something different because the pet's weight has changed. I find myself calling every three weeks to straighten out the dog food order and cancel the other items which might be lasting 3- 6 months. If you are not a vigilant customer you will pay for all of it, even though you don't want it. I'm tired of fighting with Chewy. I just discovered Amazon carries what I need except the RX. Guess where I'm going.

I absolutely love Chewy as a company! I have always been able to find everything I need for my dog, who had considerable challenges later in his life. When I did have a problem with a product, Chewy has always been prompt in helping to fix it. I will never go anywhere else for any of my pets needs!

This is a review I had never hoped to write but our 12 year old German Shepherd just crossed the rainbow bridge after a long fight against degenerative myelopathy. We had just received auto-shipped renewals of his prescription dog food ($130/bag) and his two medications. I emailed Chewy to see if we may be able to return them unopened as it totaled over $300 in unusable products, they responded immediately and empathetically with a full refund and guidance to donate the dog food and dispose of the pills. They were so understanding (ie didn't make us jump through hoops to provide proof, etc) and helped ease a really difficult time for us. We will continue to be loyal Chewy customers for our remaining dog's needs and will refer them to every dog owner we know. Their seamless, reliable autoship and competitive pricing has also taken a lot of stress and admin out of managing care for senior dogs with high needs. Will be a fan for life!

I was very excited initially to use Chewy's service. The price point and autoship seemed too good to be true....and they were. From the get go (August 2023) there were issues. Our autoship was duplicated causing double charges and ongoing issues. They also required a new written RX every 3-mos and then randomly reactivated an old RX without a valid prescription and charged us. All financial issues were resolved, but all took me reaching out several times. Now I am waiting on an RX they claim to have not received after two weeks. Once I questioned this, they cancelled my order stating the weight was off by .6lbs. No adjustment, just a cancellation and we need to start the whole process over. I will gladly go elsewhere and pay twice as much to avoid this headache! As I write this, they now claim it was the Vet, but why is the Vet involved when I mailed the RX? Again way too much time and effort.
