They advertise fake prices on google shopping. Total bait & switch. Promoting one price and then charging a lot more at check out. Called customer service in hopes they’d honor the prices advertised and they refused & didn’t take accountability for their false ads so now I will be disputing with the credit card company.

I received my order in exact time it was supposed to be delivered and it was very easy to assemble! However my cats wanted nothing to do with it so I reached out and got a refund! I recommend to everyone! They were fast simple and efficient! They care about our animals!

If you think about it, websites like trustpilot are really negatively skewed aren't they? Most of the people that come here to leave a review have done so specifically because something negative and out-of-the-ordinary happened to them and they needed a place to vent. As for me, I've been shopping on chewy for about 5 years and only recently had to contact their customer service for the first time. I wanted to buy a replacement part for a cat tree that I owned for about a year until my cat got sick and the perch/bed got ruined. Chewy immediately sent out a replacement before I even saw their response! For free! And they wished my cat a speedy recovery :) I can't believe that such good customer service still exists, and I came here to leave a review in the hopes that more people will shop there and make sure they never go out of business.

So my dog has been eating same food through chewy for 2 years now. The product that was used is now discontinued and was not told. So I ordered different flavor but same line of food only to find out that whole line is discontinued (Messing with my dogs stomach making him puke the whole time) Chewy was so unhelpful. I couldn't believe how uncaring they were through multiple customer service reps and unwilling to help me find a new food similar to what he was eating. They just gave me info to check it on my own through a different website. Ended one of the chats with me by just cutting my off. In the past the reps have helped me pick a food and they were wonderful. My experience with them this past 2 weeks leaves me wanting to find another delivery service. Horrible customer service now.

I have been ordering from Chewy for about as long as they've been in business and I find them to be one of the most customer-friendly companies with which I've had the pleasure to deal. First, they seem to hire and train their customer service people to be an actual pleasure to work with for any problem, just genuinely nice people. Secondly, Chewy allows their customer service people freedom to do whatever is necessary to make the customer happy. Lastly, prices are kept reasonable and quick delivery is a big plus. I care for a feral TNR cat colony, so not having to carry big bags from store, to car, to house is very helpful. Their only flaw is that the website can occasionally get overloaded and slow, which is insignificant in view of being treated like a VIP and friend. Last year, when the delivery company guy threw my big, full boxes over my fence and burst holes in two cat food bags, Chewy's CS replaced them even though I assured them I was just complaining about a bad delivery job and could deal with the loose food. I was later contacted by a manager about the delivery issue. I've had a neighbor who's pet died right before her order arrived and not only did Chewy not charge her, but told her to just donate it to a shelter, then sent her a sympathy bouquet. Now that's above and beyond and what I call great old fashion customer service.

We use Chewy for our dogs food and love their customer service. After losing Sadie last week I cancelled the subscription for her food and today to my surprise there was a box on my front doorstep which had a dozen roses and a sweet note. They really care about their customers and always go above and beyond. Here’s to many more years of dog orders.

Chewy.com constantly goes above and beyond. Though I really try to shop at my local brick-and-mortar local small-business pet supply stores, I inevitably have to put routine orders in online. Chewy.com has been my online go-to since 2016, and they've always been reliable. The customer service is some of the best out there right now. Update in 2026: I'm sad to have to come back and knock off a star. Overall, I have been very happy with Chewy. However, recently, I noticed a huge price discrepancy in a life-saving medicine I'd been getting from them versus a local store. When I reached out to customer service to notify them of this sizable price difference and ask if they offer price-matching, they simply apologized and said no. I think this is pretty unacceptable, to be honest. It feels like a rip-off, and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth about a company that I otherwise really appreciate.

Our kitty passed away this morning. I knew our autoship would be processing soon. So I sent a short email letting them know and asking that they cancel it. I received back a wonderful, heart felt response from Zachary H. in which he offer so many kind words. He also assured me that the autoship was cancelled. We have been Chewy customers for over 3 years. When we decide to get a new pet, Chewy will be the company we will use. I am overwhelmed at the compassion, kindness, and integrity from Zachary H. I wish I could let him know how appreciated he is. Chewy needs to commend him on his excellent customer service.
