I've been shopping with Chewy for years and I've never had an unpleasant experience. Once or twice there was an inventory mistake but all I had to do was call and it was fixed with no hassle. The people who leave negative reviews about Chewy are people who are chronic victims in every aspect of their lives. They fail to pay attention to the details of a promotion and blame Chewy for not honoring it. The truth is, Chewy is the most outstanding company in the USA and if I had to work for a company, Chewy would be the one that would match my values. They are going through a difficult time now, like so many other companies and they are having to layoff employees. I can only imagine how distressing this is to the management and how heartbreaking it is to customers like myself. I can only hope that Chewy will recover with the rest of us from such a horrible economy. This company has a heart that is lacking in so many companies today. Their employees are real, sincere and compassionate. Right before Christmas I had ordered extra meds for my dog to be sure to have them through the holiday but my dog passed Dec.17. His meds were very expensive (200+ dollars) and I called the next morning to see if they would refund me because the pharmacy had told me that they would if he should pass. Not a problem at all. But they also refunded me for all the other things I had ordered for my dog...food, toys, treats. I was literally stunned and even told them not to worry about those things. I wanted to donate them to the shelter for Christmas. But the rep had already refunded everything and insisted that I not worry about anything. The next day I received a beautiful vase of flowers with a beautiful note and card and it really helped to lift my spirits even though I was sobbing in their thoughtfulness. Those flowers lasted for 3 weeks and I saved two of them to dry and keep with my dog's ashes. Don't let kindness become a thing of the past. We could all learn a thing or two about kindness and about human compassion from Chewy. Hang in there Chewy and know that your loyal customers are rooting for you and praying that you will recover and once again be back on top. Thank you for healing so many broken hearts.

Excellent customer service, products, and pricing. Delivery is usually 1-2 days, which is awesome, and shipping is always free. Love, Love, Love this place. Oh, and they send my dogs birthday cards every year. Keep it up, Chewy. You guys Rock

I have used Chewy for a few years and I have to say that it is one of the best companies I have ever done business with. Their deliveries are fast and accurate. Their customer service is head and shoulders above any that I have ever dealt with. And their prices are great. I have several items on AutoShip, and they are always willing to change my address or send shipments early or late.

I was on auto ship with Chewy. I used their services for two years and never had any issues. Recently I canceled an auto ship order before it was shipped, yet they charged my account and sent the order after it was canceled. Now I have to pay for shipping to return it so I may as well keep it. After the experience I recently went through, I started looking into other options for getting my dogs food. There are less expensive options out there, you just have to look for them. Customer service is a thing of the past apparently.

They were good once. Took a downhill turn. They seem to have good and bad cycles. Once again I have to drive to Petsmart to get food for my dog. Last order came last Sunday. Every seven days means every seven days. Not when they want to deliver. A chat with customer service did nothing. Canceling my device after this order (they already charged my card). I’ll drive to Petsmart once a week if I’m going to have to do it anyways. Asked to speak to a supervisor but got the run around. Got too big for their britches.

I just had to put my dog down after 13 years and to my surprise received a dozen yellow roses from Chewy on my doorstep today. I bought my dog's insulin from them. The jesture was so sweet and much needed in the sad time. I fould their customer service was awesome! Thank-you Chewy!

Chelsea, the CSR, went the distance. I was short on my purchase amount to receive the $30 e-coupon. I called for expiration date on coupon. My SS funds wouldn't arrive in time. We had a pleasant conversation, about me with 2 cats plus caring for my daughters 2 cats during her crisis, and laughing how I often missed out on good deals in general (in supermarket also etc.). Chewy sent me my package immediately WITH the e-coupon. I cried. It felt like I won the lottery. I'm not one to win things.. What she didn't know was how bad my year has been. My Mom passed, then my Son on Easter. I've had surgeries and procedures. I have become isolated with my grief. This month my vacuum broke, my heater and my fridge. And more negativity I won't go into. I sit in a chair all day. It is the cats that make me get out of bed. That Chewy delivery broke something in the air. The next day I fixed my vacuum myself and for a couple days deep cleaned my LR and kitchen. I feel like I lost 1000 lbs. of darkness. She didn't know that her actions would affect me this much. I guess I just needed 1 single nice thing to happen to me. This won't solve all my problems, but it was like an air hug and put me ahead a little with their food as I've been just getting by. Thank you Chelsea. Thank you Chewy. And anyone reading this, when you go out of your way to smile or chit chat or be kind to someone, it might be the only good that has come their way in a long time...

We lost our cat Zeke suddenly. Chewy has been very kind and supportive through our loss. They've sent us flowers and offered to help us in anyway. Such and amazing business!
