Purchased a gift card for a friend. Wanted to check balance before sending to be sure it was active. The gift card's instructions plainly state "To check your balance any time, save your Chewy Gift Card in your Chewy account." At no point is it mentioned that this binds the card to your own account with zero ability to send it (and simply buying the item was not an option, since the gift was to contribute to my friend's larger purchase). Customer service could offer no assistance. Congrats Chewy, you drove me back to Petco.

Today after work, I received a package from Chewy though I had not ordered anything. Inside was a card and a gorgeous little stone with my cat Pierre's name painted on it with purple and pink hearts painted on the side.The card from Sarra and Chewy. It was such a personable thing to do after they found out he passed. When my cat Callie passed, they sent beautiful flowers. They are always prompt with orders and anytime I have called, everyone is so pleasant.

We have been using Chewy for some items for a long time. Recently we ordered some dog food for our wonderful senior dog. Just after it was delivered, our most beautiful boy died unexpectedly. It was, and still is heart breaking to loose a good and so loving friend. I had put the food on auto shipping so I had to call and cancel future orders. I told Chewy about his passing suddenly and the customer service lady was very kind. A few days later we found a bouquet of flowers and a sweet, caring card from Chewy at our door. What a wonderful company to send that to us! Thank you Chewy!! It meant a lot to us both! Our boy would have loved them too.

Chewy is the best of the best! I just started ordering the heart guard and I didn't realize the steps to approve it and get it shipped was a little longer than I anticipated so I got my veterinarian to call in the prescription early on a Monday and y'all I'll tell you chewy worked with me every step of the way to get this shipped to me THE SAME DAY and it normally take 3-5 days. I never ask for next day delivery but they expedited my order , at no charge, and i had the heart guard the next day! Now how many companies do u know that will do this for their customers? Kudos to Chewy! Y'all are the best!!!!

I placed a order with chewy August the 30th and my order was supposed to be delivered today between 9:00 and 1:00 and the fedex driver still hasn't showed up to my house and chewy purposely delayed my order yesterday and they have cut off there online chatting on purpose so, my advice to you is don't put up with chewy false emails and there lieing to you about when your order is supposed to arrive.

I have never had an issue with Chewy. Every order that I've ever received has always been exactly as described on the website. Their delivery is fast and their customer service is impeccable. I recently had an issue with a case of wet cat food. They replaced it without question. Don't judge a book by one experience. I've been using them for many many years and I know of many people who have been using them and have nothing but high regard for chewy.

I have a cat he's 15 years old and I also just had major abdominal surgery which makes it so I can't bend or lift anything. Usually I have to depend on other people to bring in something that's left by my door and that's what this review is about something that was not left by my door after I requested it. I had called chewy.com and explain the situation and explained that it's mandatory that they have FedEx bring the cat food that I ordered up to my door because I cannot run downstairs to go get what I ordered I can only go out once a day and I had already been out that one time. I was on the phone with them about maybe 10 minutes so that they could ride all this down they said that they would submit the report to FedEx I made sure that it would be delivered right to my door, I told the person I spoke with to have them ring my bell hi first floor and you need to either go downstairs or take an elevator to get to my apartment. They reassured me that they would make sure that FedEx did that especially after I explained to them that I just had major abdominal surgery and I wasn't able to go downstairs more than once a day. When I received the order where was the order it was downstairs I had to go on the elevator, I took my grocery cart downstairs and I had to break the package up while I was down there put each can of cat food individually into my car so that when I brought it back up here I can use my grammar to put it away on my shelf. I find this unacceptable I immediately canceled my account and told them that I don't like what they did and that they should have reinforced the situation made sure that FedEx delivered it where I asked them to. Other stores have been I've been putting orders by my door, and if it's something heavy I find a neighbor that will bring it inside for me I just wait until I can open it at a later time. As of today September 2nd I'm 22 days post-op. I just wanted people to know the bad customer service that chewy.com actually has.

I am a new customer to Chewy and when I called customer service I got a warm welcoming voice .I ordered something on impulse for my elderly dog and realized he won't use it.I didn't know how to cancel this item or if it could be cancelled.The customer service rep was so helpful and helped to resolve my issue.Other companies should follow Chewy's excellent customer service.They really seem to care about your needs and concerns.I will be a continuing customer with them.Thank you to my Vet who recommended using them.
