Okay, so I have a medicaid issue that is ongoing in the wonderful corrupt state of Illinois. Due to a clerical error back in 2020, November to be exact. They did not transfer my case from downstate to Chicago. This has left me with a Medicaid plan that has providers downstate and no psychiatric care upstate. I just had my meeting with a "prescriber" that was on a listing that fit states other than about a list of 10-15 that were unable to be used by getcerebral.com (Illinois was not one of them for controlled substances -- one of which I take for a neurological condition as well as mental health, anxiety reason) This company targeted me due to my illness. They purposefully deceived the fact that although Illinois falls into the group of states that controlled substances are abled to be prescribed, (Please keep in mind that I have been on these meds previously and have an established verifiable history), but the prescriber with a shoulder shrug was still waiting for approval for her to be licensed to prescribe medication. Immediately post consult with the "Prescriber" that wasn't Licensed in a state that the site claims to be able to prescribe in and have Licensed Prescribers, I wrote a refund request, and within a minute I had a response with legalese terms and to the lament or ignorant user, this would fly. Not me, I have spent 8 months without insurance due to Illinois screwing my case up. I know the emails of the consumer protection agencies federally and local, the Inspector Generals, the representatives that I have been in contact with, although I wish I could complaint about them as well... you would think the driver of this jalopy of a machine we are all kareening off a cliff in, would be able to steer us away, and no.
