I don’t have health insurance and going…
I don’t have health insurance and going to an urgent every month for a prescription is not possible or affordable. So I reached out to cerebral for mental health support. I love my second psychiatrist, he has been wonderful. I have been bounced from care counselors and there is no continuity of care. Each counselor is different which is fine but I don’t feel like they are helping me. There is no plan there is just talk and then work sheets. I could Google this stuff and write in a diary. It’s very expensive for someone to write a prescription for me and then have someone who talks to me for 45min a month just tell me to read little online worksheets. I wish there was a plan for just the psychiatrist. Also the app has the wrong number for the suicide hotline. How do I know? I called it one night when I was extremely low. It was the wrong number. I reached out to cerebral to tell them. I got a response two days later but the wrong number is still posted. One evening, I was so depressed and trying to manage difficult feelings. So I reached out, I heard from them days later. I was very depressed so I did not respond. They never followed up. I may seem dramatic but I’m mentally unwell. We all are on this app. It should be better. As soon as I get health insurance I’m canceling

Hi there, this is Rachel with Cerebral. I am so sorry to hear that this has been your experience with Cerebral. This is not the high standard of care that we hope to provide, and I'd like to see what we might be able to do to help mend the situation. We'd like to do what we can to help you feel better supported in your care with us and ensure that we are being receptive to your needs. You can reach us at (415)403-2156 or [email protected] and ask for my colleague Stefanie directly. Best, Rachel T. Cerebral Coordinator
