Wish I had a 5 star review...

I'm giving two stars cause there are good doctors and lovely therapists with Cerebral. There have been some good experiences, but since I joined in 2021 there's been a lot more stress than good moments. Especially with getting a response or medication figured out if there's an issue. When you need someone or something, they pass the messages to so many people. I've had numerous people read my problems or medication issues and it's uncomfortable. I've stuck it out though, despite the fact they also charged for times in the past I didn't even see anyone that month, but that's another story. My main issue is they had my insurance on file since the beginning. They didnt accept it yet. So I stayed and paid out of pocket cause it was convenient to not look for new therapy obviously. I kept checking once in a while for updates on the accepted insurance and one day I found they finally accepted mine. No one reached out about it either. So i was paying out of pocket and they couldnt refund how long i was doing so, of course. I was so happy to have my insurance accepted that i didnt make a big fuss when they said they couldnt do anything... Well when it was set up, it was not explained very well that I'm paying them plus copays. And if it were, I'm okay paying what I owe. I've never denied it. I pay my bills. However, 11 months later they charge my checking account and overdraw me. Without notification or a payment option. Their excuse is they have a contract with insurance and I owe it. They have a right to charge per the agreement..... sure Cerebral...... I offered a medical payment account and asked to refund my checking, cause I pay into this card for this reason. And they refuse to do it! I just want another account charged!!!!! They say they are basically allowed per the agreement to charge me. Woah! Hold on?! A company thinks they can morally take hundreds out without explaining or reaching the customer for options?? After 11 months?? And I offered a new payment option and they won't take it either? They cant refund and recharge a different card?? Thats silly. They are horrible to not offer assistance in the first place. I tried to stick around since 2021. But I cannot pay for what they did to me, and then continue to pay them while paying the insurance copays. It's cheaper to go back to where I used to go. To those who have a great experience, I am so happy to see that. But be careful what account is linked, and know that if you're using insurance through them, you owe them plus each appointment usually. And they can and will charge you when insurance is processed. Mine took a year. Sad to go.
