They upped my medication and a few days later said I was too severe of a case to use cerebral. It made me feel so much worse and threw me into a manic state. I feel like it wasn’t done well. No help. Just here’s a month worth of medication and a “good luck”. They later gave me a website to use to find a psychiatrist in my area but I have yet to find any available for months. I feel abandoned and more hopeless than when I started.

I've generally had a good experience but I've had issues with medication being 'sent' but never received and had a lapse in refills for a week until I could get a refill. There was also an automated message that came which wasn't accurate to my situation which made things confusing.

I have suffered from depression for a good part of my life. I saw many different therapists, but it all seemed to be nonsense talk that never got to the root of the problem. Less than two sessions with Rana and I knew we were going to crack open the knot inside of me and get to the crux of my issues. I have been with her for 6 weeks and I am finding things out about myself I never knew. It's like a breath of fresh air when I leave the session. Things are beginning to make sense. There is hope and happiness no matter how old or years you have struggled. Thank you Cerebral. You are doing life changing work. With a little effort and commitment, you can do it too. Don't let it pass you by.

My experience with cerebral started out okay. Then the provider prescribed me an SSRI which has been working great for me until recently. I can’t sleep but instead of the provider trying to address this problem she decided to increase my dosage. Everywhere I read online says to decrease the dosage or insomnia can increase. However that isn’t the problem. Now I can’t get my meds because my prescription insurance won’t pay for a 30 day supply and will do 90 day only because they consider it a maintenance medication. I explained this to my provider and care coordinator. Their response was for me to use Goodrx. Goodrx was gonna cost me $50 for a script that would be no big deal if it didn’t cost me $0 with my insurance. The provider refused to respond to my pharmacy and me. I have had 3 care coordinators in the past week respond with generic messages about how cerebral has a policy against 90 day supplies. Yea I bet that policy is in effect so you can get more money out of people. This service is such a joke. A mental health provider should spend more than 5-10 minutes with you. Also I looked up my particular provider and she’s not even a psych NP. That’s a huge red flag for me. I put in to have my account canceled. They emailed me saying the request has been put in and should take 2 days. It’s been far more than that. I asked for a refund but I don’t see that happening. For a service with the model of better access to mental health, they sure suck at helping with your mental health. I’ve been without my SSRI. They don’t care. They love to just send out stupid generic emails warning you about quitting a medication cold turkey. I hope this company gets shut down.

I wish I could give this service a 0. My first appointment was supposed to be in early December, I was hoping to be able to have some time to start feeling better before the holidays. The appointment approached and I got a call 2 hours before (not enough notice at all) that my provider was out sick and would need to reschedule. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and said okay and selected an appointment at the end of the month (conveniently after my second monthly payment). I scheduled to be off work early for my call and followed all instructions. After 10 minutes of not receiving a call I got a notification that I had no-showed the appointment which is absolutely absurd considering I’ve been waiting, suffering for months. I have written to the support team at Cerebral requesting an immediate cancellation and refund of my second month of payment as I’ve received no treatment. This company strings along people with mental health issues and takes their money with no conscience. Shame on them, I will also be reporting to the Better Business Bureau. What a scam.

My prescriber Stephanie has been amazing. I feel like she really, genuinely cares about me and my well being. She’s upbeat and friendly, but also very knowledgeable. I haven’t yet had a meeting with my care counselor. Both appointments have been cancelled last minute, and we have a third attempt at a first meeting scheduled for mid-January. I understand that things happen, but that’s been frustrating, especially given the expensive monthly fee for Cerebral. What I’ve been able to experience so far has been great - I just want to be able to experience everything Im paying for.

Lack of communication between all parties. Communication barriers by design. No regular direct communication with prescriber/psycologist. Therapist and Psycologist were good but the overall communication needs improvement.
