Mind your card details...
What an utter disgrace. I wish I read the reviews! I signed up - as far as I knew - for a U.K. account while I was visiting family in Italy. I was charged in euros, but I put that down to them being based in Europe. When I tried to set up a gallery, it gave me Fuji as a lab, with pricing and delivery charges in euros, shipping in Europe etc. After reading the FAQ section I found the currency and changed it to U.K. GBP. At this point, I had no lab, only self fulfilment and digital. The shipping section still showed FUJI (the European lab) as an option. I tried everything: set up paypal and stripe, all with U.K. accounts; write my address (which was U.K. from the beginning) in a slightly different format; nothing worked. I tried to contact customer service via chat (they’re never there even when they’re meant to), email, messaging. Nothing. Only an automated reply saying they received my email, over a week ago. Meanwhile my clients are waiting for galleries which today I’ll have to send without the buying option, losing money thanks to these clowns. I’m now thinking to find another host and just move even if I lose the money. I can’t work like this. I accept there can be issues especially at the beginning, but I need to know there IS a customer service with a 24 hours turnaround. This is unacceptable when running a business. Never again! Part 2: when they finally replied (after this review went live of course) they said a pop would come up asking me to change my bank details and then i would be on a U.K. account. As I re-inserted the details of my (nearly empty) bank account, Zenfolio tried to take £132!! I closed the pop up. Now if I try to sell I’m asked to upgrade to Portfolio Plus, despite that’s coming up as my current plan. Might as well write here, since it’s the only messages they seem to reply. They’re still not online in the chat despite saying in the messages that they had a problem last week. No answer this morning, no answer now. Do NOT use and be careful with your card details! Part 3: the pop up kept trying to charge me £132 despite customer service saying they had put £132 credit in my account to avoid that. Customer service had to pass it on to Accounting to sort out. They can take 1 to 5 business days to get back to me. I did get a refund of the money I already paid, so I'm shopping around but rebuild my website all over again and reload the clients galleries is not exactly what I needed at one of the busiest times of the year for me. So I'm still hoping for a reply. Lets see who's faster, me to rebuild it all or accounting to reply...
