Avoid Zenfolio like the plague. There is a reason they have turned off reviews on Facebook and Google. Do yourself a favour and just use something else like Pixieset. I've tried countless times to inform Zenfolio of their issues (there are a lot of them!) even writing detailed guides on how bad their customer user experience is and its all been ignored.

Terribly slow uploading images. Can only upload a minimal amount. Which at times may take as long as an hour to load! They say it's my wifi. No it isn't because the university I've worked as university photographer for 28 years uses Smug Mug and the difference is no comparison. Another huge problem is trying to move images around in the edit. Select image(s) and begin to drag to the space I want and the page begins to scroll down on its own! It's impossible to move images without a fight! And after the third time if I grab an image to move it gets stuck on the curser! I mean really stuck. It WILL NOT disengage. I have to shut down the folder and start over. I had planned to migrate to another website so I email Zenfolio to change my yearly plan to monthly but they deducted my account for the year anyway! I'm really disappointed with everything about this website. My site is so messed up now that I don't know how to fix it unless I literally sit down for hours and start over.

Zenfolio has been the subject of customer complaints regarding slow performance for at least a decade, with nothing from their customer service group but "it must be your browser, it must be your ISP, it must be somebody else's fault, I'll notify our engineers." It is probably worth noting that Zenfolio closed down their own user forums. I would hazard a guess that this was done because there was nothing posted on them but complaints about slow performance.

They've got a loading issue where the bottom part of the gallery does not load images to the client. This is frustrating as I've only just picked this up and who knows how many galleries I've sent out where the client hasn't seen all of the images I've edited. Very disappointed. Customer service has been pretty good which is why I've given them 2 stars and not 1 - they were quick with their responses and trying to help but still no solution. This is ultimately a problem for the developers to resolve and I have now switched providers as it's currently not a functional gallery provider.

So many issues...all my galleries have missing watermarks, leaving every image open to be SS from customers. Noone answers phones. Total mess, 1000s of my images exposed overnight.

On a positive note, I like the layout of my website and had no problems setting my page up really. HOWEVER, support is proving very poor!. I have been waiting 5 days for my issue to be resolved - client unable to buy all photos. I have messaged in between times only to receive a polite response of "il get back to you" more or less with no solution or timeline of when they will respond and guess what-I'm still waiting-feel I've been purposely moved to the LOST IN TRANSIT file!!!. My client is getting impatient and frankly so am I!!! I live in the UK so already a time delay and not being able to speak to anyone via the online live chat is pathetic. Does zenfolio as a company wish to thrive and improve? Im new to your company but my experience so far is really making me think I will not renew my subscription unfortunately!

Poor customer service, I'm new to Zenfolio, I have two subscription accounts that I pay a lot of money for and when I have a customer service issue it takes all day or the next day to get help. I try to work through most issues myself but this time I can't, so I thought I would try support again so I'm just waiting. Terrible support team.

Sorry but I have been unable to get hold of a support person all day using the live chat, and I'm sick of the robot giving me unhelpful replies. The promptness of replies was excellent during my trial but now I'm live and have an issue there is tumbleweed rolling past. I reported hours ago that my sales galleries have an issue with formatting and look like a webpage from the early days of the internet. This looks absolutely amateur to potential clients. Other web hosts I've used can put me in touch with a human in no time to resolve issues. Completely regretting switching over to Zenfolio at the moment.
