Purchased WYZE CAM PAN 2 years back and it had worked fine. 2 days back upgraded the firmware and after the software upgrade device went dead. Wyze Customer service representative Chris Rey acknowledged known issues with software upgrade but will not taken responsibility to correct the issue. A perfectly working device goes bad after firmware upgrade. Wyze is taking the older devices out of commission by way of firmware upgrade as there is no warranty after one year and this will make customers purchase new devices. This is very fraudulent and deceptive practice. PLEASE DO NOT UPGRADE FIRMWARE ON YOUR PERFECTLY WORKING DEVICE ESPECIALLY IF DEVICE IS OUT OF WARRANTY.

I bought their Contact sensors a bit over a year back. Once their battery died they literally could not be reconnected again after battery replacement, rendering them useless. They offered me a small discount on my next purchased their new hub and contact sensors. This also made my old add-on completely useless. I gave the company the benefit of the doubt and in good faith went on to try to make some new purchases: But guess what: they don't ship to Australia now! So I now have an essentially useless camera system with no contact sensors, and a useless discount voucher. Pay a little more to someone that cares about their users.

I talk to two people asking about my card on file and where was it in the app. These two people were the most uneducated and could not understand me for 45 minutes. No answer Called back and talk to someone else he was better and sent me to the website. I do not have an account setup through there. I had a subscription for 7 cameras and now all of a sudden just one. These people are a POS.

Wyze seems to be distancing itself from customer service. It's almost to the point they only care to improve their bottom line profit and customer service doesn't fit into that agenda. My read is Wyze may be insulating themselves from bankruptcy. Customer service a year ago was great. Now nobody answers the phone. Something us definitely not going well at Wyze.

Latest software update has made things even worse, instead of getting the min 12 seconds I get only 2-4 seconds and on the cam plus I am lucky to get 8 seconds. Have sent in 50-60 logs and emails of the problems including emails to customer service and nothing changes and the events still do not upload to the cloud all the time. Crappy service and cameras

Bought light bulbs from them, they charged my CC immediately! When I placed the order the site said there was stock but of course that was a lie. They had no stock and cannot tell me when they will get more. They also refuse to refund my money. So I have no product and they have my money! In the same week my 2 month old Wyze robot vacuum died, customer support was useless so I returned it to Walmart (where I purchased it) for a refund. Avoid this company and they crappy products and services!

Have had issues now with Thermostat and now bluetooth device for the door lock, and both times the customers service is unable to help. The reps have no knowledge of the products and rely on emailing next level support. After waiting days in the first case, I found a work around on my own. Worst customer service! I will be replacing with a different product

Absolutely terrible customer service. I went through three different service reps and still did not get a solution to my problem. It's almost as if they purposely tried not understand my issue and would go in circles offering unrelated suggestions to update my app or check the box. I was simply trying to redeem the 3 months of cam plus free offer that was printed on the box. They seemed confused by my inquiry and demanded I submit a receipt and photos of the box. I felt like I was speaking to a wall. I've never been so frustrated over a $12 value ($1.99/month for 3 month trial for 2 Cam v3) but it was the principle of the matter. I would gladly pay 10x that cost not to deal with this again. In the end, the coupon code I was provided after what seemed like hours of customer service contact was invalid. They treated me like I was a con man trying to pull off a heist of $12 value. The product works well. The customer service is the absolute worst.
