Have 2 wyze cams V2. One is bricked from accidentally getting unplugged during an update (kids) and won't respond to trying the factory reset or system flash (because the SD card reader s rarely work). The other will randomly read the SD card, but got it to take the firmware update. But alas, I'm going to CHUCK them into a wall, especially after figuring out it won't record any video with the new update on the one I did the firmware update successfully on. Only takes a snapshot on movement, essentially negating the point of the SD card and how it used to record clips! They want you to pay for it now. What a joke.

Wyze customer service is a scam. There are no phone numbers to actually speak to anyone. Their chatbot is useless. And if you can actually chat with a real person that person is unable to do anything for you except forward an email to some other department which decides whether or not to contact you 8 - 24 hours later.

If I could leave a zero star review, I would. I cannot tell you the countless times these cameras have stopped working and need constant resetting. One broke completely within the first two weeks of using it, while the other two are constantly on the fritz. If you feel like spending money for a headache and increasing your stress levels, then by all means, use wyze. That’s all these products are good for.

in the beginning they were great, but with each forced firmware update and app update, down went their quality and reliability and even features. Until one day my camera worked no more and was completely worthless and a brick. never again, horrible company horrible products

The worst experience I ever had. 2 cameras stopped working. And spent more than 75 min , 40 min and finally 39 min with customer support who were so rude people and refused to replace the defective cameras. Also surpervisors refused to speak to me and and hang up on not take a complaint. Just stay away from companies like those who want to sell products and make money and never listen and ignore their customers. Profile image

I like the Products, but try to get a hold of customer service, and they send you a Rabbit hole of channels. Very difficult to actually speak with someone.Customer service is BAD.

I’ve had at least a dozen different Wyze products and the only one I’d rate higher than maybe a 2, would be the door lock. That’s been relatively reliable and easy to use, but the cameras are unreliable and I HATE having to update the firmware constantly!!!! That should be done in the background, NOT when I’m trying to see something on my cameras!

They will not restore my account after I lost my 2FA codes. I setup another account so I can use my devices but they won't reset my outdoor cameras.
