Review: I am writing this review to express my deep dissatisfaction with the cheap products sold by Wyze. I have been a customer for over two years, but sadly, not a single product has stood the test of time. Within this short period, I have had four different products from Wyze go completely haywire. They simply stopped working, leaving me frustrated and out of pocket. The quality of these products is subpar, and it is clear that they are not built to last. But what compounds my disappointment even more is the abysmal customer service offered by Wyze. When I reached out to them for assistance, I was met with unhelpful responses, and a lack of genuine concern for my issue. It felt like they were just going through the motions without any intention of truly resolving my problem. As a result of this disastrous experience, I am now resolved to never purchase another product from Wyze again. I consider this entire ordeal a complete waste of my hard-earned money and a lesson learned to steer clear of their offerings. To ensure others don't fall into the same trap, I will make it a point to spread the word among my friends, family, and acquaintances about the poor quality of Wyze products and their appalling customer service. I believe in the importance of informed consumer decisions, and I want to prevent anyone else from experiencing the frustration and disappointment that I have faced. In conclusion, if you value your money, time, and sanity, I strongly advise against buying anything from Wyze. Save yourself the trouble and look for more reliable and reputable alternatives elsewhere.

One of the major problems with these juveniles is that they do not support what they sell. Need a part for your Wyze robot vac? Tough! Need to rollback a camera update because it bricked your cameras? Tough. If you ever anticipate needing customer support , parts or warranty work, pick a different company. Not only do they not support their products, but don't seem to care and have no intention of doing so in the future. Fortunately, many of their products are copies of someone else's item and so if you can figure out who they counterfeited, you can generally find a compatible part.

I ordered a "smart" lock and keypad. When I tried to set up the lock, I got a message saying it was already registered to someone else (I odered a new unit, NOT refurbished!). I have now tried every day for the past week to get support. Today I tried to return the piece of crap since the company has the WORST customer service (I've literally wasted hours of time on chats with them). I received an email confirmation that my return order was confirmed with the QR code to scan at the post office to send back. Several hours later I received another email stating my return was canceled - no reason given. I am well within the return parameters. They are clearly just thieves with horrible customer service. I tried contacting customer service again and they told me they could not help me and that I "should" receive an email from the orders team explaining the issue. I am not holding my breath!

7+ cameras new and old and they either don't work or don't work reliably without having to power them off.

I used, and liked my wyzecp1 ptz camera until the app and camera stopped working. wyze disabled the original app, and the new one never installs. I have jumped through all the typical scam company hoops, like repeatedly describing the problem over and over, even sending a screen shot of the non installing app (a typical chinese stalling tactic). After going through all their "wizards", all using American names, so you know it is a scam, the last one told me to contact their security department, another avoidance tactic. wyze disabled my working camera and account, offered no solution, no working app, nothing. Avoid wyze at costs. It is nothing but a bait and switch scam operation.

If and I mean..."IF" I could provide them NO STARS or MINUS STARS, I would and wouldn't hesitate to do so. Without question this is the worst security camera company on the face of the earth. Their staff are plain lazy and inconsiderate. Go out and get yourself a real camera and forget about this terrible company. They are not worth your time.

The worst customer service! The camera I purchased would not install. I wasted hours troubleshooting with their incompetent "Wyze Wizards" as well as a long phone call going around in circles. In the end they did send me a new unit with ZERO compensation for all my time and an expensive long distance phone bill. They do not walk their talk. Continually saying "oh we are so sorry", "we want to help in any way". BS!

I've been using Wyze for several years now, v2 and v3 cams. They worked okay for the price. However, the July, 2023 firmware update bricked all three of my v3 cams that were bought January 2022, along with many other people, as documented online. After wasting many hours over a week with support, they said I was S.O.L. as my 1.5 year old cameras were out of warranty. So I left some really really nasty reviews, including here. Then yesterday they agreed to give me a gift card that was almost as much as what I paid for the cameras. So I am not leaving Wyze just yet. Take my advice, if you buy cameras from Wyze and everything is working well, disable automatic updates.
