I love the Unagi Scooter and Company
I love the Unagi Scooter company not only for their awesome scooters but their customer service is AMAZING. My scooter had a issue with its breaks and I contacted them around 9am via email and by 1pm the customer service agent had another scooter on its way to me and a label sent to me via email to send my broken scooter back for free!!! This company is so awesome!

The scooter is great for short trips…
The scooter is great for short trips and the quality looks amazing, is comfortable to ride on the side walks and sometimes on the streets, overall this scooter has become my hobby for going out on a short trip or just to feel the wind on my face.

This is honestly a quality issue for…
This is honestly a quality issue for me. I live in downtown DC and will definitely say this scooter is NOT for city commuting. The neck is very flimsy and kind of shakes when you're riding, the brakes are all or nothing and I've almost flown off several times, the wheels are very small and will get stuck in sidewalk cracks...I'm not really sure what audience this scooter is for. I opted for the “higher end” model, the Model One Voyager…I can’t imagine what the classic is like. They lock you into a four month contract and don’t accept returns for ANY reason. So if you’re like me and expecting a new form of city transport, you’ll probably just end up with a dud sitting in the corner for four months. Do not recommend.

Horrible service
Horrible service, they keep sending me broke or drain batteries. Unbelievable I owned a new unag before and what they're sending out for these rentals are garbage. I am so unhappy. I can't even get somebody on the phone to send it back unbelievable.

Frustrating website, difficult to get status information, great scooter
Revised review: Just received my scooter today. love the scooter so far!!! After receiving a reply to my complaint on this website with a contact email, I was able to find out the status of my order. I then was able to make some changes to my order and a scooter was shipped within a day. I really wish the app or website would of had a simple notice on the status of the order! Something like the email message I received after my complaint, *we are awaiting stock to fulfill your order°. Sending out no follow up emails and just leaving pending as the status (along with having dead links to some contact pages) had me worried about the viability of the company. Scooter,4.5 unagi as a rental company so far 3 Up from 1 star Here is my original rating Trying to find out the status of my order. It is late in shipping. The app and the website both take me to non working pages when sent to customer service to inquire about the scooter. You think a company with this kind of reputation could get their own website to work. It's very glitchy and poorly designed. Was hopeful, now unhappy
I was so hopeful about this scooter all access but I’ve had a bad experience with customer service and receiving my voyager. I ordered last Thursday. It still hasn’t shipped and no update. I tried to cancel with their cancel button but it just spins. I wrote them and I haven’t heard back. How can they possibly be servicing and giving replacements as they say they do. Maybe they got too big and can’t handle it. Either way. I’m not at all happy.
