I had a very bad experience shopping at Ulta.com. My order was never delivered, and Ulta already charged my bank account. I contacted customer service multiple times, but every representative I spoke to seemed unsure of what to do. When I checked the tracking on FedEx, the package hadn’t moved for days, but instead of taking any action, I was told to wait for 8 business days.
I even waited nine business days before calling again, and the agent’s solution was to either ship the same items again and wait another 8–10 business days. What a “great” suggestion.

The Promenade, D’Iberville, MS
I am going to be specific in my review, only because it’s happened more than once and I’ve been told that other customers have complained as well in the recent weeks. This is The Promenade location in D’Iberville, MS. I like dealing with people I’m familiar with in anything I do. On this specific day I went in for a specific item and then needed her help with something else and the rudeness began. In the very beginning Maddie was very sweet; however in recent weeks when she sees me she practically runs in the other direction. This is a most rude customer service experience not only myself, but anyone could ever experience. For the amount of money I’ve spent in less than 3 months I would think she would be wanting to help me considering, I am the CUSTOMER 😡😡

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER – Ongoing issues with no resolution. I’ve called, I’ve messages, I filed with the better business bureau and still no response/resolve. Don’t bother emailing guestservices@ulta because they don’t care. Save yourself the hassle and go to Sephora!

Product knowledge and overall experience
I had an outstanding experience at the Prosper, TX location! Negeen provided exceptional service that truly went above and beyond. As someone with very sensitive, acne-prone skin and hyperpigmentation, I'm often disappointed by limited product knowledge at other stores but here, they exceeded my expectation.
Negeen demonstrated incredible expertise and took the time to truly understand my specific concerns. What impressed me most was her in-depth knowledge of product ingredients and formulations. I do extensive research online before purchasing anything for my skin, and she was spot-on with every single recommendation. Her suggestions were perfectly tailored to my needs and aligned with everything I'd learned in my own research.
If you're in Texas and struggling to find skincare solutions, I highly recommend visiting this location and asking for Negeen. You'll be in excellent hands!

BEWARE ULTA BEAUTY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THERE CUSTOMERS
If I could give this company zero stars, I absolutely would. Ulta Beauty has shown me that they care more about taking your money than helping you when something goes wrong. On September 25, 2025, I placed an order through the Ulta app, spending nearly $250 during their Fall Shopping Haul promotion. I chose home delivery to save myself a trip to the store. When my package was marked “delivered” on October 3, I rushed home within minutes—only to find nothing there. I immediately contacted customer service, explained the situation, and was told I had to wait a full business day before they could even “look into it.” Since it was a Friday, that meant waiting until Monday. When I reached back out, I was told they’d “investigate with FedEx” and to check with my neighbors—basically no real help. Several days later, Ulta emailed me saying FedEx confirmed delivery to the correct address, so there was “nothing else they could do.” That’s it. No refund, no replacement, no accountability. You’d think that for orders worth hundreds of dollars, there would be some kind of insurance or protection for the customer, but apparently not with Ulta. I even filed a complaint with the BBB, and Ulta still refused to make things right. I was left out $250, with nothing to show for it but frustration and disappointment. Ulta Beauty has lost my trust completely. If you value your hard-earned money, do not shop here—because if something goes wrong, you’ll be on your own.

You will spend more money disputing…
You will spend more money disputing their inability to function as a business than you will save using this app. I have spent a week talking to, or should I say attempting to talk to their customer service to have them release/void 4 different charges that only one went through and ZERO have resulted in being able to pick up the product I ordered. One card was charged 3 times for product while the app told me that information was incorrect so I changed cards and that card was charged and the order still did not go through. A WEEK later I still have pending charges on two accounts.....zero product. Customer "service" is so ridiculous I have decided to simply not even shop with Ulta anymore in the future. Keep your points, keep your 10% off, keep your product. I'll order directly from the manufacturer or Sephora.

Ulta beauty salon- got my hair…
Ulta beauty salon- got my hair highlighted with a root blend and my hair is naturally light brownish blonde- asked for natural thin highlights that blended well with my roots yet it came out extremely blotchy and thick streaks.- the lady doing my hair was somewhat nice to me but had an attitude and told me that “its fine because she likes it” after I asked her if this was the finished result and asked why it was not blended at all. Very disappointed and now looking for a new salon to fix my hair.
