So I went to Ulta today and I got $170 worth of stuff.. spent an hour looking around in the store. Anyway I went to pay and I gave her my $100 bill and she calls the manager over to check it. Manager says it's fake then continues to ask if I have another way to just pay $170!!! I end up going to Target afterwards.. turns out my money was fine.

I went shopping and my total purchase was over $300. I was told by the store clerk that if I applied right then and there for thier credit card and was approved, I would get a substantial discount for my purchase that day. Knowing that I have an excellent credit score I decided to do it for the discount. To my surprise I was declined. 5 days later I get thier credit card in the mail. So obviously I was approved but it's like a bait and switch so I would not get the discount offered. Tricky business tactics indeed. I immediately called and cancelled the card but now the inquiry is on my credit score. Beware to others that you are not tricked into this.

Had a hair and makeup appointment at Ulta in Fairless Hills, PA for a black tie affair. The makeup artist Aileen was late showing up for my appointment. Make Was marginal at best. I had lashes put on and they fell off even before I got home. Showed hairstylist Joann a picture of what I wanted done and hair turned out nothing like the picture. I could have done a better job at home. I was suppose to get a discount for first time customer and that was not applied. &110.00 down the drain!

Visited salon twice - once in TX and a second time in MI. Salon and makeup services are marginal at best. Honestly, I could've done a better job than the young lady at the Lapeer, MI location. Live and learn, will visit a salon with more experienced salon artists next time.

This company is crazy! I made an online order (totaling $28.10) and everything went fine perfectly. The next day I received emails saying 1. An item was not in stock at the store even though yesterday at order completion it said it was. 2. My order was ready for pickup. Okay, great. I went to get my order and after I left I saw I was charged $31.xx- more than I had authorized (ILLEGAL) AND I didn’t get an item. I emailed customer service. Zero help. I decided to say to hell with this company and return the whole order in store. All my items rang up less than I paid so I’d be losing MORE money. I’m pretty sure that’s not kosher either. If they are skimming a few dollars off this from each customer routinely they are raking it in!! I am speaking with a lawyer because this is absolutely unacceptable - I’ve never experienced this anywhere else. The drive to Sephora is worth it.

They will con you into the credit cards, say they will give you a discount worth so much $ today. And then they say sorry you won't get it today. And if you don't want to apply for the credit card anymore, then they are like too bad there's no way back. Then you call the bank line, the customer service was so so rude. And then they direct you back to ulta, they say oh you are rejected you didn't get one after all. And so I thought I didn't. And I got a card against my will. Do you think it's against the commercial law?

This store is the worst of its kind. My package was not delivered at my home address, according to UPS records the were unable to deliver, why a carrier wouldn't be able to deliver in an apartment complex? we have mailboxes and Luxor lockers. Well UPS took my package to the post office, which one? who knows, because there was no note anywhere, the post office does not answer the phone, the store says they cannot reimburse me because the merchandise was delivered. So I'm stuck with an order that I paid and will never come to my home and I will never know which post office has my package. Ulta you suck and I will never ever purchase with you!!

I needed to exchange a nail polish color I didn’t like the next day back to Ulta. Wow, they were so accommodating as I couldn’t find the receipt either. They let me exchange the color for something I liked better, winner!
