I booked an appointment for a formal updo for a very important Black Tie event I was attending. I brought pictures of the desired look and asked the stylist if she could recreate the style. The updo was a classy voluminous soft cascade of curls with side swept bangs. The stylist didn't use a curling iron or hot rollers, instead used 100 Bobbie pins to pin twisted hair knots flat to my head. I asked what her intentions were for my bangs, she was clueless on how to side sweep them, left them hanging straight in my eyes. WORST SERVICE EVER!! I left removed the 100 bobbie pins and styled my own hair. Wasted my time and money.

The customer service over the phone is the worst! Not once have they ever helped me or actually given me customer service. Today however was the absolute worst. I had a package accidentally delivered to the wrong address in another state where I no longer live and they basically told me “too bad so sad nothing I can do.” I would think after having gotten diamond status that they would be able to cancel and resend. This stuff happens, and companies have always been more then helpful in resending the item to the correct address. Not making a customer pay for something that they never received! To top it off the lady was condescending to add insult to injury.

I made an online order and went to pick it up. The process is so long they have to scan your phone and the employees grab your phone. Not the type of business I like. Even using a gift card at the store to buy more items is just as much of a pain. I would think that a huge company could make the process easier. Went to pick up my order received an email my order was ready and the girl couldn’t find my order. She finally looked into an open bag with other items in it and found my items. Girl was going to just go grab my items off the floor but decided to check out the bag behind her away from the order bins. Not an organized company could use some proper training or system updates for customer ease. Not a typical customer but had a gift card and wanted to check them out. Great for product inventory that many other stores do not have, but lagging on final order pick up and payments. Please make our experience better thank you.

Ulta Beauty makes a living off of charging outrageous late charges. They don't go buy what the date is that is stamped on envelope, they go by when the hell they open the envelope. And lie that they didn't receive it in time. They also want your bank info to pay on line which is a bunch of bull💩

I shopped at Ulta tonight for the last time. Apparently no one at Store #86 in Wilmington, DE cares the least about providing even the smallest amount of customer service. In my opinion, service makes or breaks a shopping experience. Sad, too because years ago Ulta used to excel in service. I’m not the kind of shopper who likes to feel ignored. Then again, who would prefer that? Shame on you Ulta for not valuing your customers or helping them feel special. Easy to see why people like me will shop online or with your competitor. I’ll be happy to give Sephora the hundreds of dollars I used to spend at your store. You’ve lost this customer!

They charged $320 to color my daughters hair then left multiple area bleached but with no color. All along the front of her face and right on top of her head there are bleached, undyed areas. When I called to complain, it took 3 days to get a hold of the salon manager, she just hung up on me. She then called back and told me to call customer service who sent the complaint back to store. I am now formally complaining to the bank and the better business bureau. Still haven’t heard from anyone in management and my daughters hair still look horrible.

Their customer service skills are awful, I explained very well over email about my issue, yet they gave me false informaton,

I only give a 1 star because my hair dresser tried to fix the mistake she made. I have given my loyalty to Ulta for years for my hair, and purchase $100s of products and makeup from Ulta monthly. I went in to get all over color (red). Because my hair is dark they had to pull color. When they did the red it came out neon orange (Lola orange from Fifth Element). It was aweful. They had to pull the color again and I told them just to dye it black. The issue was, my hair came out with orange roots and black hair with tints of green. This was a 6 hour ordeal. I had to take the next day off from work the next day to go in so they could fix it. Went in the next day (another 3 hour ordeal, and they semi fixed it. They had to do a conditioning treatment because all the dye and color pulls fried my hair. They had to cut 4 inches off on top of it. The first day they charged me for all over color, and the second day they charged me for root fix, conditioning treatment and the cut. $250 later my hair got chopped, the color is awful, it took 9 hours, and I had to take a day off work. Not only that, I had to buy additional (expensive) products in hopes I can get my hair back to healthy. I called corporate to try and get a refund and they said a regional manager would call me. I never received a call. Please do not use the salon at Ulta, sadly I have been warned by friends, but I didn’t listen.
