Worse customer service ever. I came in to a Houston location. No one spoke I smiled at a sales person and he rolled his eyes at me. Then I started searching not even 5 min in the store I was followed by a security guard for like 10 min. I’ve never even had a parking ticket yet alone steal. I honestly felt horrible and wanted to cry I felt as if I was racially profile for being Hispanic. I’ve been a customer for years I even introduced my mother to the store.

Went to Ulta Beauty Salon in Columbus Ohio today. My appointment was at 10 am. It was for an all-over color, accent highlights, and a haircut. She started with the color which she put the color on the roots first which I told her look too dark, which she left on for 35 minutes. She then proceeded to add color to the ends of my hair which was a different color than she put on my roots. She also added the highlights with foils. When she washed my hair the highlights we're bleached white and the color around my face had turned pink. She then proceeded to put a peroxide color lightening on the roots to correct the color and then redyed the roots.The color turned out horrible. . I have never seen such a bad hair coloring job in my life. They had a special listed at the front of the store for 25% off your first hair service. When I booked my appointment they said it was 25% off the entire amount. When she was done with me, she informed me that it was only 25% off one item not the entire process. What a rip. I did not leave the salon until 4 PM (6hours).

If I could give this company 0 stars I would! I have been a loyal customer for years and I’m shocked how they handled my situation. I placed a very large order roughly around $130 online. When I submitted payment I instantly realized that it was being shipped to my old address in California where I no longer live. I called customer service within 1 minute, sat on hold for 28 minutes to make sure I correct the shipping address to match my current billing address. The guy on the phone assured me that it will be corrected because I called within a 2 hour window. Later that night I received an email stating that they have already processed my order and it will be shipped to California vs Texas where I now live. I called them instantly explaining my situation that I don’t live in California anymore and all they said to me was that I need to update my address book online. Seriously?! Backstory- 2 weeks earlier I placed over $250 in purchases online for my favorite things party gifts and that was shipped to my correct address. I then had to email them because clearly the guy on the phone that was helping me was reading off a script like a robot and couldn’t understand what I was saying to him. After I emailed Ulta I received no email back. I had to email them 3 more times explaining that my package is going to the wrong house and that my products are going to be stolen. They didn’t care. All they replied was that I should have updated my address book. So because they refused to help me I tracked down the buyer of my home in California and asked her if she got my box from Ulta. Of course she said she didn’t receive it. When I explained that the tracking on it said that it was received she then replied with let me look around my house. I told her if it wasn’t found to let me know because I have to file a police report that it was stolen and what do you know she found my open box at her house. Not shocked at all! Thief! She told me that she sent it back to Ulta by post office two weeks ago. I’m still waiting for my refund or anything to be done with my case. Clearly I’m out money but Ulta lost one hell of a loyal customer! I’ll be purchasing everything I need from Nordstrom from this point on.

Arrived at the Ulta in Cordova, waited patiently in the line to make a return. Once at the register the cashier made no real attempts to help me return the merchandise that was poor in quality for my hair type. Though it was present not much of the product was used I was met with scrutiny as if I had somehow replaced the original contents. It seemed as if she did not want to accept my return, as if it were fraudulent. She needed to call a manager to assist in the return, as in to make a bigger deal of the situation than need be. As if I could potentially be an angry BW. I had my receipt, was within the return policy statute to make the return and yet I felt like a criminal. Someone how the transaction could not be put back onto my card and I had to accept a store credit. Which is odd seeing as I placed the order online. I shop online due to this issue of customer care every time I come to an ULTA. I am disappointed in the training of some of your staff. I watched her turn and smirk at the potential of my return not being accepted as she waited for assistance from a manager.

Wanted to buy Dyson hair system at Bell Tower Ulta in Fort Myers, which sells for over $500. The display said an associate was needed in order to show operation. No one, including the manager on duty, knew how to demonstrate the model. If a store is going to sell something that expensive, they should be ready and eager to show it off to make a sale. No one seemed at all interested. And...why would a store expect someone to buy something before fully understanding is attributes? Clueless and disinterested sales people are bad for business.

I recommend NOT shopping online. If you go in the store it’s great. But online..huge no no. I ordered a Mario Budescu spray (which is a facial spray), some eyebrow filler, mascara, blush, bronzer, highlighter and makeup wipes. The package arrived two days late. The lid of Mario Budescu spray was unscrewed and had damaged EVERYTHING. But oh well. I should get a refund, right? No! The customer service was totally rude and unhelpful. After tons of work I finally got a refund. Lord. Shop in stores. Please. Sephora is a whole lot sweeter. Go there.

PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY if you do not live near an Ulta don't shop online with them. I ordered a cologne set for my dad I thought was cruelty free at 2am on Dec 8. Called at 7am (same day now) and cancelled once a friend corrected me. Yes, like five hours after placing the order. I was told the order would be cancelled. Next (Dec 9) day they ship it anyway. After going back and forth with support they sent me a return label. Item was returned the 22. I never even opened the box. Now I'm being told it could take 30-60 days to get over $70 back. I contacted support here they are useless ( 'i see sorry sent you a free report label' like that means something after sort told me my order was cancelled). I called and a smartass manager told me I should have made the return in store. I DON'T LIVE NEAR AN ULTA. I regret seeing their stupid ad. I regret it all. I work in the education field and as a state employee the check I received the 20th, I don't see another check till the 31st of January. Thanks for the great customer support and ripping people off Ulta!

Ulta Beauty in Phillipsburg is terrible. The staff couldn’t be less helpful, more rude, or pushy. I have stopped in several times hoping the staff would be better. No luck there. I have stopped buying gift certificates for my daughters because of how rude the staff is. I would rather drive an hour to Sephora! There isn’t anything they sell that is that important to be treated that poorly! Stay away!!!!
