The pros is that there are a variety of beauty products (high end and low end) as compared to sephora and your points = cash instead of samples. The bad news it is way more disorganized (in store especially).

If I could give a 0 I would. I ordered merchandise through their website on the 1/8/20. It was scheduled to arrive on the 16, nothing arrived. I called on the 17 and was told to wait a couple of days. I than sent an email. Reply back was wait until the 20th. Well nothing on the 20th, so again wrote another email. This one said wait until the 21st. Again nothing. I was told on the phone that they could reorder and have to charge my card. I was charged on the 13th. I sent another email off today (22nd), and got a reply back that they needed my address. I sent that out and nothing. Time to file a complaint with FTC. Time to go back to Sephora.

I ordered a $599 Dyson hair drying system for my wife’s Christmas gift this year and they sent me some bottom of the barrel hair dryer. Ok, cool....accidents happen. I call their customer service line and let them know what happened immediately. They instruct me to drop the package I received off in-store and then they’ll issue the refund to my account from their HQ since it was a PayPal purchase. Makes very little sense but I said ok whatever. Fast forward a full month and over 50 calls and emails later and they have just alerted me that they can find no record of them shipping the incorrect item so they won’t be able to refund me. Mind you, I sent them video from my home security cameras showing the times and dates that the package was received as well as videos of me opening the package and it being the wrong item. I’m absolutely MIND BLOWN that they are able to basically tell people “sorry we made a $599 mistake. Tough luck” and just leave it at that. I’m now having to open up a police and PayPal investigation to try and get my money back for their negligence. I hope anyone who orders from this horrible company thinks twice before ordering online.....you may end up getting screwed/scammed like I did. Unreal.

Placed an online order and it says it was going to ship to the wrong address, no problem I've accidentally made this mistake before with online orders at other companies. I noticed within seconds of placing the order. I contacted them within minutes and they (thankfully) responded within a couple of minutes and said of course they'd look it up! I get another email hours later saying that it's actually not possible to change the shipping address (fine, I understand my mistake) but on then on top of that they have 'communicated with the warehouse' and now they're unable to even CANCEL the order...... what ????? I've cancelled with Amazon a day later and they ship in 2 days and Ulta can't even pull it together to cancel an order they don't plan on delivering to me for over a week. It's stealing money from customers. They do not care about you or me or other buying customers. They let me know hopefully it will be returned and then I'll get a refund. It's absolutely unacceptable and they're a shady business. I'll stick with Sephora from now on.

I got the free $100 dollar promotion for the make-up and beauty salon. Ok made a appointment to get highlights black and gray on my white blond mohawk 4 1/2hours later black,blue,green highlights. Totally ruin my hair. Had to make another appointment to go back redo. Told them to cover it with black burgundy highlight in front. Ok alot of process on my hair ruined it and my $100 dollar free service. Complained to corporate said they talked to the manager and I was satisfied with a redo. Well guess what I should have been satisfied the first time. No reason to take my $100 coupon for the first mess really. What kind of cheat company dies that . I wanted a reissue $100 gift card. Well I had gotten a $25 dollar gift card from customer service. But crap really buzzed my hair.

Poor service in the hair salon with Maddie, one hour late and no excuses! This is the second time not keeping appointments.

If I could give this customer call center a rating it would be a -1 star. Never receive my credit card, the people on the phone make you wait for hours and you end up on the opposite side of the line. I’m not the entitled / aggressive type to write reviews but I feel like Ulta customer care needs to get their life together . Worst service and you have lazy people working for you. Your Ulta stores are better than your customer service call center and It’s usually the opposite. I’m sorry but I have been soooooo aggravated with this company. every time I get off the phone with them Im end up in the worst mood. Get your company together because I don’t care if my calls are recorded I will curse you out of you keep playing with my account.
