Ulta is the worst customer service. I’m in customer service and would never never treat customers the way ulta does. So I would advise if you have a problem , they will not solve it, in fact they make it worse. I would go to Sephora where they appreciate customers and don’t treat them like ****

Ulta locked my online account permanently. The only reason they will give me is that I have multiple accounts (which I do not), and my purchases are not consistent with those for personal use Neither is true and even though they said they have reviewed my account, they will not give me any details. I am entitled to what is showing up on my account. I have been a very good Ulta customer and am completely blindsided by this. I have spent way too much time trying to get this issue resolved with no luck. What kind of company does this? I will use my loyalty points up in the store and then never shop there again.

I’ve shopped at Ulta for many years but purchased their Ulta credit card or if you want to call it MasterCard I bought a eyebrow pencil returned it a couple weeks later wasn’t the right color no problem there the lady at the front desk told me I do not have to worry about paying my bill when it comes in the mail you are clear since you returned it I even double asked her is there going to be any remaining balance for me to pay she said no you are good I literally got paper mail three months later with an outstanding balance of $114 I had gotten a few text messages but since I never use the card other than that one time in the text messages said I was eligible for a refund so I thought it was a scam so I never looked further into it so when I called to ask about why I have such a high bill they told me months of fees so I said I’m not comfortable paying this because the lady at the front desk when I return my item I said I was OK so how can you help me they refused to help me give me a crapy story and I still had to pay the 114 call me crazy but it was not my fault in the situation they were rude and they will scam you for all your money I will never get a card from these people again !!!!

This place is a joke now. I haven’t been able to purchase online for roughly 4 years now. I’ve tried making a new account with a different email, using multiple payment methods, and have even contacted customer support who says there’s nothing wrong with my account. I used to love this place but now I do everything in my power to avoid the store. Customer support doesn’t seem to care either, they say they’ll escalate the situation and someone should contact me within a few days but no one ever does.

In my opinion Ulta does not even deserve 1 Star on their review! I have never had so much trouble with a credit card as I have with Ulta’s credit card! I have never had to pay late fees on any of my credit cards yet with Ulta somehow I keep getting slapped with fees….that’s why I canceled the first time I had one!! Why I ever decided to open another card is beyond me but a decision I completely regret bc it’s happening all over again….now they’re saying they haven’t received my check to close out the acct! And the customer service reps are just nasty! Not only am I done with Ulta credit cards I will NEVER shop Ulta again!!

Discrimination due to race,, ethnicity. Religion etc not sure but hate crime occurred.. I spent a lot of money here and all went down the drain. Very poor. Never shop here. The items I received in the mail were defective and old. Possibly used and didn't look brand new and fresh and sparkling. I am heartbroken. My hard earned money is wasted. By defective products. I don't even feel like going through the process of returning the items. Maybe I should. Wasted my time. Ahhhh. I am upset. I didn't get what I paid for. I deserve a brand new clean product. Not a poor quality one that looks used!! They purposely damaged my products due to a possible discrimination or crime. And I'm too scared to use it. They made it defective on purpose. Never shop here. I don't know what's in those products!!!!!

Ulta is my go to for makeup shopping. Unlike sephora, ulta has GOOD exclusive brands and items, amazing deals, very fast shipping and pick up orders, and overall a good experience.

My wife ordered and then returned a hair dryer on Ulta.com. They lost the item upon receiving it. After months of fighting for our credit, proving multiple times that they had signed for the dryer, they finally gave us our money back, but banned my wife from ordering online. After more than a decade of purchases this company made the decision to punish us for their own failure. We closed our account and moved on.
