The Worst Company to Deal With
Respected Sirs, AARP Supplemental Plan : 399182845-11 AARP Part D Optum R/X Plan : 0090057951, 0172335471 I recently received three undated, unsigned letters from your illustrious company, regarding payment problems. Because they are unsigned, I am unable to directly respond to any of them. I really don't know why they are unsigned. Only criminals and scoundrels, and imbeciles hide their names. Hence this email is addressed to you. 1. My AARP Supplemental Plans (for 2 people) are fully paid for the whole year 2023. Check mailed on November 23, 2022. It has been cashed by your company in the amount of $5994.84. I received a letter two days ago demanding payment for this plan. Please correct this problem. 2. My AARP United Healthcare Part D R/x Plans (for 2 people) are fully paid for the year 2023. Check mailed on November 23, 2022. It has been cashed by your company in the amount of $2078.40. I received a letter two days ago demanding payment for this plan. Please correct this problem. 3. I also received a letter from Optum R/X stating that I owe $96.20. This cannot be. Because your Optum R/X pharmacy does not mail any medicines without payment They charge my credit card first, and then only mail the medicines. This is the second letter from Optum R/X demanding payment. I spoke to a nice lady at your headquarters on the telephone after receiving the first demand letter. She put me on hold, called the Accounting Department at the Optum R/X. After talking to them, she told me that the letter was an error, and I owe nothing, and asked me to ignore that demand letter. Now, I receive another an undated letter on December 12, 2022 from Optum R/X demanding that I pay $96.20. I cannot owe anything for a simple reason: Optum R/X will not ship any medicine without payment. To put it another way, only after collecting the payment, Optum R/X will ship the medicine. PLEASE PROMPTLY CORRECT THIS PROBLEM !! 4. Another undated letter says that I signed up dor receiving my statements from your company electronically. I never signed up to receive the statements electronically. I want my statements in paper. There is a simple reason for this. when my doctor's office tells me that they have not been paid, I can show the paper statement to them and clear it up. PLEASE REPLY TO THIS EMAIL ITEM BY ITEM. I am eighty years old. Please have mercy. It is indeed disgusting that there is no single point of contact to resolve these problems. A large company such as yours should have a single point of contact for customers to resolve these problems. Your company should not send undated, unsigned letters. Best Regards, Narayana Srinivasan
