Customer service representative Vishka was absolutely wonderful. She turned a stressful call into a delightful conversation and made my day better. Because of her I will remain a customer. Thank you Vishka.

Susana Your appeals department concluded what you wanted to conclude, you are a fraud Susana, you should be ashamed in how you treat your customers/patients/elderly, you are a shame ro anybody dealing with health, you should be fired due to your incompetent quality of service and judgement, you would not like your family and or friends (if you have any) to be be treated like you have treated me and who knows how many thousands more have been treated by you, what a shame and waste of a human, the same as Hitler, killing people and proud of it. You and United are a shame to humanity. Wishing you at least a 100 times what you have wished me. Consumer Resolution Center should be changed to the Consumer Murder Center. I know that the above corporate will not answer as usual, same category as Susana, what a shame making money in killing patients/customers/elderly.

According to a letter, Providence and Swedish hospitals will no longer accept united Healthcare insurance after January 1st. This will cause unnecessary problems, suffering, and the possibility of death. In an emergency, people will be more likely to refuse to go to either of these closer locations because of this unfair change. If you live to far away from an acceptable hospital, this can easily cause one of these possibilities to happen. It can possibly cause other problems with ambulances for problems related to closeness to hospitals they service which will cause more delays in proper Healthcare. United Healthcare needs to pay properly for care and not be greedy when human life is at stake.

UHC practices "step therapy" or "fail-first" protocols that force people off medications that work in favor of ones that don't. I currently manage my major depressive disorder with the branded medication Wellbutrin. It controls my symptoms effectively and without side effects. I have tried the generic version, but unfortunately, it does not control my symptoms, making it medically necessary to take the brand. Similarly, I treat my ulcerative colitis with the branded medication Lialda. The generic version of it causes debilitating joint pain once again, making the brand medically necessary. Despite documented success with both of these drugs, UnitedHealthcare is requiring me to first fail up to five other medications before it will authorize continued access to the treatment I know works. This is not a hypothetical burden — I am currently experiencing physical and mental side effects from medications forced on me by this policy, medications my own treatment history did not warrant. They do this EVERY YEAR. This is not clinical decision-making. It is a cost-containment tactic that substitutes an insurance algorithm for the judgment of the patient and the physician who actually knows their case. The human cost is real: prolonged suffering, unnecessary side effects, lost work and quality of life, and in many cases, irreversible harm before a patient is finally permitted to return to the treatment that was working from the start.

United Healthcare deny claims using the excuse of out of network doctors but they advertise that they will pay a partial of the bill to out of network doctors. They lie; and now they want you to present documentation to deter you from the payment request. This is a denial of service with strategic delay to make you give up on the claim. Terrible service will not recommend it.

I’m 25 and deal with my grandparents medical stuff . Never been given such a run around by any company over anything. Get bounced around to 3 different “agents” trying to sort out something as simple as account login issues and they end the chat with no explanation, repeatedly. Impossible to even talk to someone , not even an AI that’s worth anything . Would recommend literally anything else

I am shocked that United Health care denied my out patient surgery for breast revision from breast cancer. I have had it done before due to my breast being constructed differently after having a double mastectomy. I need some revison done again. THEY DENIED IT!! They decided it is not medically necessary! How dare a insurance company denied a breast cancer patient revision. I was told breast cancer surgeries were covered for life! My Blue Cross insurance before this one always approved any surgery regarding my breast cancer. Shame on United for denying a breast cancer patient to feel comfortable in her body. You should be embarrassed by your ratings!!

Worst experience of all times, the fact that one has to call them over 5 times, with no clear expectations whatsoever, and no single point of contact or reply time frame is nothing but failure, I would never advise using their services
