Unbelievable incompetence …
Benefit representatives are inconsistent in communicating benefits - with each call there is a different benefit answer - incredibly frustrating. UHC benefit reps are either just guessing or incredibly ill informed when communicating ACCURATE benefit information leading to multiple claim denials, extreme frustration & stress for insured customers; perhaps it’s an overall business strategy not to pay claims? Zero accountability even when you “TRY” to get to upper management to help resolve an inaccurate benefit statement - it’s a waste of your time & brainpower - just a continuous circle of people stonewalling & lying - harsh, but unfortunately true. Even when “supervisors” can check recorded MULTIPLE conversations between the insured & cust rep - no resolution/help, just more massive confused, dizzy people running this place. You’re either are speaking with Avery, the virtual assistant, or reps named sue or jack that you can’t understand. The CEO, VP, or TOP BOSS overseeing UHC benefits customer service should be fired immediately, and distribute the last 5 years of their million $ salaries as compensation for insured customers for excessive mental stress while trying to communicate with UHC benefits customer service. Have had multiple same inconsistent, inaccurate benefit explanations from UHC reps, causing mass confusion between dr offices, pharmacies, and the insured - what an enormous waste of time, money, mental energy & resources for all involved. Just imagine people who are alone, sick, etc. trying to navigate UTC’s claims/benefits. Sad & unfortunate.
