DONT BUY IT. Like so many others I wish I had read these reviews before ordering. Got the 1TB drive and spent several hours trying to get it to work, changing the settings in a number of ways but after appearing to analyse all the files it either freezes up finishing the scan or after coping a few (less than 20) files. Even if it did work the functionality is far to limited to be useful. I feel totally cheated - and from other peoples reviews it seems the effort to get my money back would be extensive. THIS IS A SCAM. DONT BUY IT.

Wish I did read these reviews before ordering. Got the 128gb... expensive and so far, it's been 3 days and still not finished. Got to 11% first day and crashed.. unresponsive.Try to view photos saved and it crashed again! Had to end process. Now at day 3 with only 3% done. Very disappointed!

Total rubbish
Total rubbish
Charged me for 2 128 GB when ordered only 1 but Second at 50%. No 1 Stick = So far it has taken 4 hours and only copied 3% of the 30,000 files. No 2 Stick on other MacBook 4 hours and 12%. Both sticks seems to have just stopped???

I purchased a 128 Photostick on January…
I purchased a 128 Photostick on January 13. It arrived on January 17. I was busy until a few days ago when I followed the directions to scan my photos. The 128 stick looked like it was scanning my photos (about 80,000) and tracking the duplicates, but when it finished, there were no thumb drives, no photos and the screen returned to zero. I tried to call support (outsourced) and was told for $1.00 I would get some help. Foolishly, I gave them my credit card for the $1.00 charge. About an hour later, I was contacted by someone who told me I would get some help for $29. Then I was told I could have a support contract for $39. They asked to access my computer. At this point, I hung up as I already have support from the Geek Squad at Best Buy. Being concerned about being hacked, I took my computer and the Photostick to Best Buy. There I was told that the 128 stick would only be able to save about 1/4 of my photos. Nobody at Photostick even asked how many photos I was trying to scan. In the ads, it sounded that the 128 Photostick could copy 1000,000 photos! At Best Buy, I was told that I need an external drive, not a Photostick to back up my photos. Now I am out $79 (for the stick), $29 and $39 for their "free" support and a useless Photostick. I feel like I was scammed!
