The Farmer's DogReviews of thefarmersdog.com

My dog loves Farmers Dog she is 15 and such a picky eater I didn't know what to do anymore about feeding her she didn't want anything I gave her and was losing weight. Then by the grace of God I discovered Farmers Dog and she eats it so fast and loves it and is gaining weight again. I would recommend this product to everyone it sure helped me and being such a fresh healthy product is awesome thanks Farmers Dog!

Complete garbage company!! First, my dog hated the food. They Lock you into a subscription, be careful, it comes so fast you can't get out before they charge you. COMPLETE TRASH

Our 4 year old Dachshund is so picky. Never did eat typical commercial food so we homemade her food for her first 3 1/2 years until it got to be a drag. She has been on FD for several months now and while it doesn’t seem she loves it, she eats it fine. Her poops are the best in the neighborhood. 😂. She likes the beef and turkey. She doesn’t like the pork. I think bc it has the least amount of firmness….it’s gooey! So we just don’t order that one any longer.

My dogs love the food. They are both a healthier weight and more active now. The service has been excellent!

Farmers Dog is pricey, however my dogs LOVE IT! Customer service is superior which is truly hard to find! Keep up the good work!

Been using Farmer's Dog for months. Quality of food is fine. Packaging is a messy affair given that a lot of the product is wasted due to poor choice of packaging. That's tolerable, however. MAIN ISSUE/GRIPE: Food arrives late all too often, sometimes one meal late, sometimes one day late, this last time five days late! Each time I call and they apologize. Yet, each time it happens again, all too often. Quality control is clearly unimportant to this company. I will be canceling and I suggest you seek a more responsible food provider when choosing for your dog. Really, I have never seen anything like this.

My only concern is the price. I need to arrange choice and deliveries that I can afford.

My vet begged me to pull my dog off FD; she is not a fan. My dog has been on FD for months; at first, he LOVED it and couldn't wait for mealtime. Then the chicken recipe changed, and he started vomiting randomly at first and then daily (albeit I would too bc the new chicken smells ghastly). In the last shipments, the chicken and the turkey recipes have huge lumps of protein, which is what he is regurgitating. I pulled him from FD, started refeeding Hill's, and he stopped vomiting immediately. My vet got a "told you so" in. Moreover, 3 of the last 4 shipments arrived damaged and/or with the cold packs burst all over the food, leaving one shipment warm. The customer service is hit or miss... the last rep I emailed with told me to feed my dog the warm shipment essentially. That's when I slowed my roll on FD.
