This food has changed my dogs’ lives. They are so much healthier now. My 14 year old no longer has to get her monthly shot for itchiness/scratching, she’s lost weight, has more energy (like a puppy again) and my 11 year old actually eats this food consistently and finally gained the weight he needed to. I’ve been struggling with their diets and trying to find the right food for them for over 13 years and Farmer’s Dog is exactly what they needed. Best decision I’ve ever made for them.

Farmers Dog first order
Our dog has never had an appetite like this since bringing her home at 3 months, she is now two years old. She loves the chicken and beef.
It was push and pull with The Farmers Dog at first. They only ship on Thursdays and with all the snow here UPS sometimes is unable to get to our home so the food sits in their warehouse over the weekend.
The introductory box of food arrived and then the boxes start coming and your credit card starts getting charged, like I said push and pull with them. They have telephone and text messaging and respond to your issues.
Their only issue is once you start your first order the boxes start coming and at $150 a box it gets expensive, so I asked them to stop and it took awhile. It should be Order as Needed.
I started ordering dog food after they were featured on Fox News and Dana Highly recommended them.
Our Siberian Husky loves the food, our Vet recommends the food and we’re happy for now.
Please change your ordering policy to AS NEEDED, WHEN NEEDED.

For this reason, we do send a reminder email that includes the cutoff date to make any needed adjustments, as well as state that The Farmer's Dog is a recurring subscription service on the last page of checkout.
Additionally, while we insulate all deliveries well enough for food to travel to its destination and still be safe to eat, occasionally, delays out of our control can occur. If this arises, our team is always more than happy to help any of our customers (and their dogs!) with any orders that arrive below expectations.
Lastly, we release the funds immediately when issuing a refund, but depending on your bank, it can take 5-10 business days. We recommend you check in with them for more specifics regarding their processing time. If there's anything else we can do to help, please contact [email protected].

Meats good, vegetables Unnecessary
The recipes contain good meats but the vegetables are Not species appropriate & unnecessary.

Thanks for this feedback! The Farmer's Dog is a complete and balanced diet for all dogs 8 weeks and older, and we include vegetables for their phytonutrients and multiple health benefits. Dogs are also actually omnivores due to their digestive tracts evolving over thousands of years, which means that certain carbohydrates are very digestible and beneficial to them! Quality of Food and Experience
The quality of food that I'm feeding my dogs has been great, Beef and Chicken. Whenever I have call with questions, they answer well then less than a minute.

NO MORE SHEDDING@
I used to prepare my dog's food but i felt like I was missing something because my dog would shed. After a week of the FARMER'S DOG FOOD, his coat is shinning and the shedding is greatly reduced near ZERO!

My shipments come on time. Customer service is VERY helpful when I have a question. And Bailey loves her new diet. Seriously. It's obvious how much she likes this over the wet dog food I was trying to feed her.

Amazing service and product
The Farmers Dog has one of the best customer services that I’ve ever dealt with. They respond immediately with any questions or concerns that you may have. Also, the product is superior to any other dog food out there. My Jack-Rat terrier, Effie, is at her ideal weight now and she is so much happier and healthier on her fresh food diet. She’s 6 years old but she is acting like a puppy again! I highly recommend if you have a dog that needs to lose some weight or if you simply want your dog to be on the best food out there. The only complaint I have about The Farmers Dog food is with their pork recipe. It smells really bad. But it was easy to adjust my dogs order so that I excluded the pork recipe from her diet. Thank you so much, The Farmers Dog, for helping to keep Effie alive and healthy for as long as possible!
