Our Golden Retriever Jake absolutely LOVES his Farmer’s Dog food! It doesn’t take up as much space in the freezer as I thought it would either! Love the Earth friendly packaging that the food is shipped in! My deliveries always arrive in time! I’ve never run out of food! He’s happier and healthier, and I have NEVER experienced this level of customer service with any company EVER! They are FANTASTIC! Worth every penny! Thank you for creating Farmer’s Dog. We have been long-term customers of The Farmer's Dog. This company is top-notch in all areas, from service to delivery, to communication and takes a proactive approach to avoid any delays in delivery or shipment issues. We have had some of our babies pass on to the Rainbow Bridge, and the care and follow up from The Farmer's Dog has been so exceptional. When companies go out of their way to do the right things, employ the right people, and genuinely care about what they do while standing behind their products, it shows. More organizations should use this as a blueprint for building relationships and customers for life. Food is TOP quality, all of our dogs love it, and the health benefits and prolonged life as a result from feeding quality food in priceless.

We adopted our pup last year. The kibble they gave us he wanted notthing to do with. Wouldn’t eat it at all. So after seeing every celebrity feeding their dog FD I thought hey let’s try it. It is PRICEY!! But worth it for a healthy doggy. My dog loved it at first, obsessed even. But, then I started noticing he would just randomly vomit, have diarrhea, started having bad tear stains. Lost a lot if weight! He would smell it and walk away! At times he would not eat his breakfast or dinner. I did contact FD and their customer service responded quickly. After his vet checks everything was fine. The only option was to switch his food. We have started to give another company a try that has raw kibble also fresh as an option.

I would give negative stars if I could. I started my dog on the farmers dog and she loved it, I’ll give them that. She is a very healthy, three year old golden retriever. However one day she got violently sick. Throwing up, bloody, mucous like stool, even dripping blood from her butt. Sorry, gross, I know. We took her to the emergency vet who ran a bunch of tests, found nothing “really” wrong, gave us probiotics and had us feed her a bland diet (boiled chicken and rice) for 3 days and then gradually adding her regular food back in. A week and a half later she was sick again and another trip to the emergency vet. They essentially did the same thing as the first time, ran all the same tests, sent us with a different probiotic and put her on a bland diet. Two weeks later(I did the bland diet for 7 days before incorporating her regular food) she was able to get an urgent care visit at her regular vet who suggested switching back to kibble after more probiotics and a bland diet. It worked. It’s been about 8 months with no issues. I asked my husbands sister in law who is a vet tech and she said it’s unreal how many dogs she sees that have been sick (that have no underlying issues) and their food is the farmers dog. If you want fresh food like this for your dog I strongly suggest making your own. Our vet informed us that it’s becoming more common for dogs to come in contact with mold or whatever else from these big name “fresh food” companies. They think that’s what happened with our dog. Please do not buy this thinking you’ll be giving your sweet doggo a healthy, good meal. Save yourself over 10k of vet bills. We even have pet insurance and this put us 10k in the hole.

My Rottweiler pit mix named Rakshaw has had issues with eating since she was a puppy, she'd go days without eating a full meal and had no interest in dinner time, and I noticed right away that she had dry skin. She's a great dog and I want her to last as long as I can so I looked into the farmer's dog. Upon receiving the first package (delivered directly to my door) I thawed out a pack of the Beef Recipe, and gave it to Rakshaw with her dry food and she doesn't hesitate, she licked the bowl clean, and looked at me with approval. Thank you! She loves it.

I have had nothing but great experience With this company. Always willing to help the customer.

Our sheltie, Eddie will be 15 years old soon! I think He’s been on The Farmers dog for a year & a half - we definitely feel Eddie’s health has improved, as has his longevity! It’s not cheap. If people ask about TFD price- (you can mix with current food) I ask, ‘how much does it cost to go to the vet? meds’? And especially as our furry family members age, it becomes unimaginable to live without them! I’m not saying the farmers dog will cure all ills but I definitely think that it improves the quality of their life not to mention they love it!

Sulley loves Farmers Dog! He is so excited about his meals now. I feel so much better giving him food I know is fresh and healthy. There customer service is very responsive as well. It is a bit more expensive, but a huge improvement over dry kibble and canned food.
