My dog has never eaten any kind of food for longer than 2 days at a time. I have had him since he was 6 months old, and have had no success with keeping him on a consistent diet as he is so picky. He was vomiting pretty often due to the inconsistencies of his diet. He was not happy with anything we did when it came to food. Now he eats every last bit of food and the portion sizes are perfect for him. His coat is shiny and he stopped vomiting. The farmers dog is a little pricey but it’s worth every penny. My dog has never been this excited about food. I also just want to say that the way to order food is a little odd. It’s super easy to do and they outline every last detail, which is great, if you actually read it. They tell you how much they send, the first order half off and then give you a choice of how much you want at a time. You have to answer all these questions about your dog as well. If you don’t read the instructions and just click accept, you might not realize what you’re agreeing to. But it’s 100% all there. They send emails and texts letting you know when every order is shipped, as well as how much you’re being charged.

Lucy was unhappy, she didn't eat, didn't play. Then her Farmer's Dog food arrived and she changed completely. Not only she adores it but now she is very happy and plays all the time. It was a miracle. Thank you Farmer's Dog, you saved her life!

I'm just getting started with the Farmer's Dog food for my 6 and 12 year old dogs. It's more of an adjustment for me than for the dogs. They love it. I went through a lot of dry kibble foods before I found one that worked for both of them, meaning at least one of them didn't have the most horrendous farts. So I was expecting trouble with this transition, and we haven't had any issue whatsoever. I'm still giving a fair amount of kibble, to ease them into the new food, but honestly now I'm just trying to use up the dry kibble. My dog who won't ever eat any type of vegetable just loves this stuff, which frankly I'm just shocked about that, because you can see the carrots and greens in some of the recipes. Anyway, so far so good. A bit pricey, but I've always been skeptical about dry kibble, and the more research I've done, the more I understand why I SHOULD be skeptical! I just want to give my dogs the healthiest food I can get for them, but I don't have time to cook them chicken and rice meals (and I know they'd be missing nutrients/vitamins if I tried to make all their food).

The Farmer's Dog experience has been a lifesaver for our rescued Rottie. I knew feeding 'real food' versus store bought would be key to greater health, improving fitness and calming her anxieties. We learned of a 2 yo female 80 pound Rottie who was in desperate need of a new family. We dropped everything and drove 1800 miles to rescue her. She was stashed in a corner in a small puppy crate unable to sit or stretch out. She never received, love, touch (other than hitting), attention. She was allowed out of the crate for 30 min to pee, poo, eat and drink water and then back in the crate. Her mere existence was totally against her very nature. When we adopted her, I realized we needed to transition her experience to be totally in alignment with her nature. Food was absolutely #1 top priority! A friend told us about Farmer's Dog and I immediately jumped on the website, read all about the company, owners, food quality, reviews, etc... and ordered our first batch. I was really impressed with the ease of their website, the thoughtful intake process and the flow of signing up. I was amused and impressed when our first box arrived. How thoughtful, creative and fun to see the efficient enviro friendly packaging, the personally labeled bags of food, the storage container and the pamphlet explaining each recipe. The text messages on delivery updates and informational emails have never been obnoxious or overwhelming. I'm happy to say our lovely gal is absolutely thriving. She has an abundance of all the creature comforts is the superstar of our town and is the mascot of our company. She is much calmer beginning day 2 of fully transitioning from store bought food to Farmer's Dog food. We've been able to cut her CBD dosage in 1/2. We're continuing her herbal calming tabs. The goal is to cut that dosage to only when needed. She has more energy when playing, can now walk a mile, able to self regulate and remove herself from play to catch her breath and rest, and she able to focus more with better concentration when presented with a task. Every aspect of her life changed overnight however, I honestly believe the quality of food and nutrition set the stage for her to begin thriving and catching up on developmental progression that her previous environment had stunted. Thank you guys! What an absolutely brilliant idea you acted on. We are SO grateful!

I have 3 very picky eaters and I throw away food at every meal, I always feel sad they won't eat. And would never eat the am meal. So I thought I'd give Farmers dog a try. Let me say, I am such a happy dog mom watchng them gooble this up and actually lick the plate clean. This is a first for them. If your on the fence, just try it, you'll all be happy you did.

I have been feeding my dogs The Farmer's Dog food for about 3 weeks. My dogs love it and I am happy to give it to them because I know its good for them. After all I hear in the news about dog food, homemade was my first choice. But my homemade food lacked the vitamins my dogs needed. When I found The Farmer's Dog, the cost was about the same as I was spending, and it had all the vitamins and minerals my dogs need. Thank you so much for making my picky dogs happy at meal time! I no longer have to try several things to get them to eat! Your food has changed my life as well as my dogs lives! Thank you!!

My dogs loved the food, but it made both sick. After 3 days of following the directions provided, I had to discontinue this diet. One is a puppy and one is an old dog, this may have something to do with the problem Unfortunately, they say they have already prepared my next order, (which we all know this food is not a bespoke order) they will ship and charge me for a second order. So if you want to try this, beware, you will be charged for 2 orders if your dogs like it or not. Update: Farmer's Dog did cancel and refund the charges for the second shipment. I was called by a representative of the company who kindly offered to refund the charges for the trial. However, I did not accept that. She was very concerned for my dogs health and asked if anything else could be done. Because the company did go the extra mile, I've changed my rating from a 3-star rating to 5 stars. They do care.

Was very disappointed in this product. The first two bags Maddy love it. All was good but bag 3 when I opened it I noticed a smell different from. The other 2. I should have listen to my instincts and not feed her it, but I didn't and she got really sick. Being an veteran owner of a cbd company I missed 2 days taking care of her. She literally git food poisoning. She's doing well now and back on her wilderness food. After reviewing several others who commented on my post I found their are several others that got the same result. We noticed a small slice in the middle of pack that she ate from. They need to do more quality control. Before they end up killing a pet.
