My pug doesn't care for all the vegetables in the food. He is also not as energetic and has chronic constipation as a result of eating the food. He also doesn't really care for it and will eat it as a last resort. It doesn't have enough protein for any dog and his activity level is proof.

I placed a order with the understanding that my food would be coming from Texas. However it is coming from Tennessee which is quite a distance to ship something frozen. I can't believe you wouldn't have someone preparing food in the state of Texas as large as we are, but evidently they don't. And now i've been setting around for 3 days waiting for fedex to deliver my order and it's still on a truck in Mississippi.

Over priced and My Dog still refuses to eat it, even after a week of trying everything.

HORRIBLE. Farmers Dog is a TRUE SCAM. They billed me over $300 and I never received any food. I texted and called but no Manager ever contacted me. They are "very busy".

A HUGE tip-of-the-hat to Farmers Dog! These folks truly care about OUR PETS and they CARE about us, the pet owners! Allow me to explain. My wife and I had two Boston Terrier rescue dogs. We lost one, Dustie Rose, suddenly last November and our remaining girl, Maggie Mae has Cushings and advanced dementia. We just started feeding Farmers Dog to Maggie Mae and have had her on it for about a week now. She is responding quite well and has new found vigor and appetite. She is more alert than we've seen in several months! We are truly grateful for Farmers Dog! My review doesn't stop there. It is with great pleasure that I bring you "the rest of the story". After Farmers Dog learned of what my wife and I have been through since Dustie Rose passed, the fine folks at Farmers Dog sent us a BEAUTIFUL POTTED PLANT and a very thoughtful card! How many companies elevate to this LEVEL OF CARING for their customers and pets?! This POTTED PLANT will serve as a living memorial to the FOND MEMORIES we have of Dustie Rose and Maggie Mae for MANY YEARS TO COME! THANK YOU, FARMERS DOG for going ABOVE AND BEYOND! My wife and I are grateful!

I have heard great things about The Farmer's Dog and was recommended to try. My dog gets tired of food easily and I was running out of options. I received the package delivered to my door. Day 1, my dog loved it and finished what I had given him which was a mix of Farmers and kibbles. Day 2, I woke up to a nightmare. He had been struggling overnight while I was asleep and had vomited and diarrhea all over the place. He stopped eating and drinking. Vomiting has stopped now but he still has diarrhea with blood and mucous. He started to eat slowly the boiled chicken and rice. It has been 4 days. I am extremely worried and agitated. This has never happened in the past. I am taking him to the vet to find out what we can do for him.

I have recently started my mini goldendoodle on the farmers dog and will never go back! He is so excited when I prepare his food he licks the bowl clean. It makes me happy to see him so excited at meal time and knowing he is getting fresh human grade custom meals free of fillers and carcinogens. Additionally their customer service is 24/7 and amazing. I had to pause our delivery and restart and they could not have been more accommodating. I highly recommend!!!

Very good quality food, by far the best customer service from all the human grade food companies. The app is easy to navigate. I like how the package is thing making it easier to store and thaw compared to pet plate and nomnom. I wish the package didnt require scissors to open like nomnom. The only negative is that they didn’t take in consideration that I was feeding a puppy and after a lot of research I realized I had been under feeding my dog by a lot… But for an adult dog it is probably great, they recommend lower calories compared to nomnom and petplate when anseering very similar questionnaires. The puppy part is the only adaptation they need to make better. I have only cancelled because I am transitioning my dog to raw food as I am leaning more towards the theory that dogs are carnivores and not omnivores as farmers dog believes. Compared to per plate and nomnom, it it was my favorite.
