The reasons we started our dogs on The Farmer's Dog was because our cat was eating their dry dog food. We were told that our chihuahuas are grazers so we always had food down. Well we didn't like that first of all and Charlie has a weight problem because of that. Then our cat Stormy got hooked on the dog food and she was getting fat! Along came an ad for your food and two weeks later the problem is resolving... Charlie and Stormy are losing weight and the cat is back to eating cat food. They are all healthier and Charlie, Jill and Tito are loving their food now and are on a feeding schedule! No more grazing and they have proper portions and quality nutrition. My dog is very sick. She is a toy poodle I took her to the emergency room last night. She has pancreatitis, the vet said it was from farmers dog, dog food. She was a vibrant 1.5 year old toy poodle. Now she is fighting for her life. They told me other people seem to also be having problems with this food.

I have two little rescues. One 13. One 6. One 13.5 lbs the other 12 lbs. Fed them dry food. The older one has a sensitive stomach. And did not eat the food occasionally and regurgitated several times a week! Since Farmers Dog? 1/4 bag for each day! 100% less scratching! 100% soft coat of my long haired miniature dachshund. Very little regurgitation! And they do not hesitate to eat. Twice a day. 1/8 in morning and evening! Awesome product! Expensive! But well worth it!

OMG! I was a little unsure about whether or not I should get this food because my chihuahua is a really picky eater. Despite him being a picky eater he is still over weight, however. He also was having a lot of digestive issues too. I was so happy with the results I had to write a review. Cinco just started his new diet, he is no longer having digestive issues, and his poops are actually looking healthier.

I gotta say Farmer's Dog! Robin and Charlie are OBSESSED with their first day eating your fresh food! They would never eat their kibble unless they were absolutely starving, and their other beef dog food from this other brand just wasn't cutting it giving them diarrhea sometimes or them not eating all of it, but I can tell you guys put a lot of thought and hard work into making sure every dog eats happy and healthy. Thank you guys, I'll definitely be purchasing more. 🙏🐶🙌

Lucy wasn’t too interested in her dry food. However she gained weight on food nibbles. Sent for Farmer’s Dog and she won’t look back to dry food. From the FIRST BITE she has been absolutely MAD for her Farmer’s Dog meals! Now I have to insure she continues by my ordering more! She has been on it about a month or so.

Switched my 80 pound dog to farmers dog several months ago. Today at his vet check up they were very concerned with his weight loss and lack of muscle….. my vet said he needs at least 1700 calories per day. Turns out the one pack a day of food recommended by farmers dog based on his weight is only 800 calories!!!! Not even half of his daily requirement for over 200 dollars a month!!! I called to see what the deal was. They just try to justify it and say they can adjust it which will obviously cost more money! Im am done. No more. The farmers dogs neglect in providing the proper amount of food has now caused a health issue in my pet. Beware and check the amount they recommend

Dog would not eat Beef or Turkey or touch the treat sample. After some useless back and forth with customer "service" during which they focused exclusively on how quickly they could ship more food and charge me again, not on dog satisfaction nor customer satisfaction, I cancelled the service.
