Where can I leave a 10 star review on this awesome food. My dogs have never been healthier and it's made my life so much easier because I was cooking scratch with organic meat but you all have the ingredients right because they are no longer constipated. They now have healthy white bowel movements, no more bad breath. They both stopped licking their paws and scratching. This has saved me money and time and vet bills too. Thank you

My German shepherd
My German shepherd, Atreus, and I have walked 2.5 miles a day while he was eating the dry over processed junk food. Last year, his physical therapist said he needed to get down to 90 pounds to prevent future hip problems. At the time he was 110. No matter how much we walk or how much I reduced his dry junk food, his weight didn’t change. She recommended a lower caloric brand but it was still junk. So in March of 2023 I took a chance on Farmers Dog. He ate the beef meal with added fresh green beans. Last week, he weighed in at 88 lbs. For the first time since 12/19, when I adopted him, he has the physique of a German shepherd.

Made it hard to cancel after getting our dogs sick
Tested out the trial after seeing it everywhere and it made our dogs sick. They can be picky and have sensitive stomachs so it wasn't the biggest shock but when we went to cancel they gave us the run around, asking a million questions and made it seem like we didn't feed our dogs correctly. When a company makes something hard to cancel that leads me to the assumption they know their product is bad

From bony to healthy
Our pet rescue took in a very emaciated 8 year old French Bulldog. The owner of the rescue shared her dogs’ Farmer’s Dog food for her, and almost immediately we noticed improvement in her hair coat, and her bony hips, shoulders, and ribs began to round out. In a little over two months she had gained a healthy amount of weight to enable her to have a life saving BOAS surgery. I was her foster mom, and now I have adopted her! She is a perfect weight right now, and I am mixing Farmer’s Dog with a little bit of good quality kibble. I wish it was in my budget to feed all three of my dogs strictly Farmer’s Dog, but I can’t right now. I hope to be able to add some into my other two dog’s diet at some point. Thank you helping to save the life of miss Joon Bug!

We tried The Farmer's Dog after Ollie
We tried The Farmer's Dog after Ollie, because we calculated that TFD would be overall cheaper for our 30lbs and 60lbs dogs.
However, the 60lbs dog is losing weight since we changed and our 30lbs dog refuses to eat it.
30lbs dog runs away from TFD, she is on a hunger strike and has to be coerced to eat it with treats and toppings. Unacceptable.
Both of them were a healthy weight and for the 60lbs dog, to noticeably lose weight within 2 months is also unacceptable.
We went to the vet and got bloodwork done to make sure it's not an underlying issue. She is all clear.
Over the last few weeks she seems permanently hungry and adopted a couple of really bad and dangerous behaviors to satisfy her hunger. TFD is not cutting it.
Long story short... we have to cancel the subscription. It just doesn't work. Both of our dogs get sick, if we continue.

Sick dogs
My review on this product is a one because it is unaffordable for the average person to buy the dog food. I’ve noticed that they keep trying to send me food and the price seems to double and triple every time and not until I went on the website did I find it now my 30 pound dog is now costing me around $230 a month, that is quadruple the dog food that I’ve purchased for my dog prior and I don’t purchase cheap dog food. I purchased either blue buffalo or Royal canine that is offered In most doctors offices now after I’ve read all the complaints. I’m not sure I want to keep my dog on this food. Seems like it’s very dangerous. I’ve read a lot of people. Their dogs are in the hospital due to this food. You don’t read that in the comments when you visit their site, they keep all the negative complaints off their site so they don’t tell you that these are possibilities when you introduce his food to your dog means so far I have not had any problems but they do push a lot of food on you, which is very expensive Really considering after this next box to be my last because now I have to transition her back to her regular food $200 a month is insane for a 30 pound dog that’s more than I spend on myself, but I do value the health of my dog and if she gets sick Off of this food, I will sue you
