Didn't work for our 4 year old Wheaten terrier- poodle mix. All flavor mixes gave her diarrhea --- this was after transitioning her to new food per Farmers Dog instructions. She wouldn't eat 2 of the flavors at all (Beef & Chicken) only would touch the Pork and Turkey. After several instances of diarrhea, we were trying to figure out if she was eating goose poop or something else. Visited the vet who strongly recommends against Farmers Dog. After going back to her original food, everything resolved. Then tried adding 1-2 Tablespoons as a topper (I now have over a month of expensive food!) --- instantly, back to diarrhea. Never Farmer's Dog again!

Hate the plastic!! The last thing we need on the planet is more of this. How come a “natural food” company can’t get this right and, instead, only perpetuates the problem?

My dog loves this stuff! She never eats when I set food down, but she always goes to eat it about 5 minutes later. She has always eaten like that. But, she licks the plate clean! I think it's easier for her to eat it on a small flat plate as a salad plate. A bowl makes it stick on her face. That doesn't happen with a plate.

Food was tasty per my dog’s reaction. Only complaint I had was that the company includes a hard paper tray/bowl with a plastic lid in every single box. I believe anyone who can afford this food probably owns at least one dog bowl, perhaps two. The tray and plastic lid are superfluous. Please ask TFD to not send these bowls, or at least ask them to provide a Yes/No answer box where customers can state whether they want them included or not. There’s enough single-use plastic being brought into this world on a daily basis. I actually put the food straight into my dog’s bowl, and I still have the wasteful tray and lid in a cupboard. I have a hard time discarding unused items. (And, yes, I know it can be recycled.) I actually stopped buying the product because I hated to see this waste. I have no idea what kind of pollution is given off in the creation of PET 1 plastic. Maybe someone can tell me.

My English Bulldog Atticus Finch was 78 lbs on Feb 28 2024 now it is June 28 2024 and he weighs 68 lbs. He loves his Farmers dog food and dances for it every night. The freshness is unbelievable. We have never looked back and thought we made a mistake. No way. It was a great decision for our bully.

We have a 5 year old Golden Doodle weighing in at a healthy 47 lbs. After switching to the Farmers dog we've literally seen her chase her bowl across the floor until thoroughly gone. FAR less waste in her poops witch tells me she's getting better nutrition. I believe we are going to have a healthier, longer living Doodle for making the change.

We have been using the farmers dog food for over a year. When we first got the food we found after a week, you could see the difference in the dogs. Their eyes got bright again and you could tell they had the energy like they did when they were puppies... They were almost like they had been drugged with the dog food. We had been using which, by the way, was refrigerated Fresh Pet It's terrible They had plenty of energy and they have Great looking coats and Are very healthy I would highly recommend product companies one of the best..
