Worst service ever!! They will charge you the full amount before even providing a Therapist. Once the couldn’t find anyone fitting (no provider with experience) Talkspace would only give me a partial refund although I wasn’t able to use their services. Talkspace’ a customer support is unresponsive and of no help at all. Do yourself a favor and avoid Talkspace it’s a waste of money and time and only aggravating. I hope insurance companies will black list Talkspace since they are a ripoff!

Total lack of support from customer service. I had a previous plan set up that was cancelled and my account view showed no way how to restart a new plan, even tried starting fresh and signing up again but it said I already had an account so no luck there. I submitted a ticket asking how to restart my plan and several days went by with no response so I found an alternative provider and replied to the ticket saying that I no longer wished to make any changes to the plan. I receive a clearly copy & pasted reply over 2 weeks later saying that they have been working through high volumes and they are sorry I cancelled my subscription, and to let me know if I need anything else, which isn't even really reading the ticket because I had cancelled over a year ago and was trying to re-engage. I would advise others who are likely reaching out for time sensitive mental health support to steer clear of a company that is not able to help troubleshoot at all.

Completely useless. Talkspace WILL lie about if they have qualified therapists available in the area you need help in.

If I could give 0 Stars, I WOULD! It looks like it’s a scam: I signed up and was billed but never received any services. I tried getting them to respond, but no one ever responded to anything. They took my time and money, and RAN! I've still not heard back. Please for the sake of your santity and money, DO NOT USE TALKSPACE!

Still waiting for resolution from them after a few weeks. Signed up for couples counseling. Was assigned a provider who did not have any appointments for 2.5 weeks out. However i was still going to be charged for 4 sessions (one a week). I tried to change providers but because I had not met with this one yet I was unable to. I also needed to change the time zone of the provider due to my partner being in a different time zone than me. I reached out and did not hear back for a week, they sent out a generic message and offered me 30 minutes for free. I reached out again, once again another week until a response with the same message. Reached out in the talkspace chat, still have not heard back. I requested a refund and they offered me half of what I paid even though I have not used their services yet. I do not recommend them, they do not have a number you can call, they only respond via email and through the talkspace chat, both of which you do not get a response in a timely manner.

I had the exact same experience of many others - I was assigned a psychiatrist, Dr. Faiz Faseehuddin (AL-00040439 AL; MD54637). Everything started out very well - he seemed caring, concerned, and helpful and was very communicative. I had my first visit scheduled and the provider reported having tech issues and asked me to reschedule, which I was fine with. I rescheduled and showed up early. As the start time came and went, I waited for 20 minutes, sent 7 messages to the provider and using the "read receipt" feature, I could see the therapist was reading my messages. I didn't receive a single response. I went in search of a phone number or email to use to get a hold of support. There is no phone number listed anywhere. I remembered an email I sent on Thursday, 6/16 asking for help signing up. I never received a response. Thankfully I had found a work around otherwise this lack of response would have hindered me getting care. I left a review on the site in two different places about the platform and one about the provider. I was charged for both visits even though I never actually met with anyone and never heard from him again. I reported Talkspace and this provider to Premera Blue Cross who I have insurance with through my employer and reported the issue to my employer. DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING YOU SEE OR HEAR ABOUT TALKSPACE. I AM CONVINCED IT IS A MONEY-GRAB SCAM. I even said this in my message to the provider, which I know was working because we had corresponded several times previously, and THEY DIDN'T SAY A THING. I feel violated - I gave them a history of therapy and where, medication history, and labs and bloodwork and DIDN'T RECEIVE CARE. This business (if you can call it that) should be SHUT DOWN IMMEDIATELY.

If I could give talkspace 0 stars I would. So I wanted to get a therapist to better my mental health, I am diagnosed with bpd/depression and anxiety . ( by the way every therapist I matched with had no idea what bpd was ( borderline personality disorder) don’t you people go to school for these things ? & I selected people who had that they helped people with bpd) I really just wanted someone to talk to but Talkspace made it worse, I wasn’t aware of how bad Talkspace was, every therapist on there scams you out of your money. The first therapist I had was Olga. & she kept telling me that she needed to cancel our appointments most of the time we only video chatted one time. ( she then gave me this huge sob story of how she was fired so she needed to end the therapy service with me ) I don’t believe she was fired . I truly believe he she was just taking peoples money and cancelling the sessions . , I then got matched with another therapist by the name of Andrea, she seemed friendly at first every time we called she gave me good advice & whatnot , the first few times but after awhile it felt as if she didn’t even have any good coping mechanisms or any mental exercises to help with my mental health even though that’s what she claimed to do. She would constantly repeat herself & told me other alternative ways to get mental help, although I specifically was paying her services to help so that was odd, it was the sort of thing where you’re like “ maybe you should just join a support group “ she would say this every time . And other things felt reused , she also would cut the 45 minute video call to 35 minutes so I didn’t even get my full time in. They took money off of my moms insurance card. Even when they were in the wrong. They take your money even if you don’t schedule or they cancel on you . Also when I told Andrea I didn’t want another meeting she didn’t care and she tried to take the money anyways & schedule an appointment . Also I only had like 1 session with her a month. 4 in total and got scammed out of about 400 dollars & maybe more. this whole app is a scam. Save your money please. & your time. Oh they also locked me out of the account when I cancelled my subscription
