CRIMINALS THEY CHARGE YOUR CARD EVEN WHEN THEY SAY THEY WONT. I NEVER SIGNED UP AND ATTEMPTED TO DELETE EVERYTHING. THEY REFUSED TO DELETE MY CREDIT CARD AND THE ONLY WAY THEY WILL STOP CHARGING ME IS IF I GIVE THEM MY LICENSE????? THEY WANT MORE OF MY PERSONAL INFORMATION. OH NO !!! THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM AND EXTREME IDENTITY SELLING GOING ON.THEY DESTROY MY CREDIT AND I NEVER EVEN JOINED!!!! RUN!!!

I am extremely upset with my experience here. I’ve been trying to start therapy for years due to depression/anxiety but I could never afford it. I found Talkspace through my insurance company and when I signed up I was told my insurance completely covered it and I would owe $0 per session. I’ve done two sessions total and they were great, however I just got hit with a $135 charge on my card that I do not have. Then received an email saying my insurance actually doesn’t cover their sessions so now I’m being charged. I’m extremely upset. This should have been communicated to me before I started any sessions. I’m going through financial hardships that are greatly contributing to my depression and now my “therapist” is taking money I don’t have and never agreed to pay. Now I don’t know how I’m going to pay my rent next week. Steer clear away from this company, I feel cheated and now I’m left without a therapist while my mental health is declining. Do not trust your health with this company.

Talkspace, spoken of as a convenient and accessible platform for mental health support, falls short of its promises. My experience with Talkspace has been full of issues that make it difficult to recommend it to others seeking reliable mental health care. First, Talkspace's scheduling system is impractical and rigid. Despite claiming to offer flexibility, I found myself struggling to secure appointments due to the limited availability of therapists. Plus the need to schedule sessions far in advance, is hard for individuals with busy schedules. The expectation that users have ample free time to plan appointments is unrealistic. They only accept limited insurance companies, not BXBS. I was also canceled on twice in a row by a therapist, with promises of credits that did not materialize into usable session time. This lack of accountability and follow-through is unacceptable, especially considering the vulnerability of those seeking mental health support. If you do not use your 4 sessions in a month you lose them, regardless of if your therapist is available or not for a week or 2. My time with Talkspace proved to be more stressful and financially draining than beneficial. The platform's shortcomings in scheduling, insurance coverage, and therapist reliability make it an unreliable option for individuals with busy lifestyles. For those seeking genuine support and a hassle-free experience, please seek other alternative avenues for mental health care.

Talkspace handles things in a backwards fashion. Upon signing up for the first time I thought they initially ran my insurance and that I was covered. So I book a session and then a week later they send me an email to inform me they had charged me. There is no way I would have agreed to a session that I would have had to pay $125 out of pocket for. The honorable thing to do would have been to ask me if I was aware my insurance doesn’t cover this session and I would have chosen to apply a promo code or declined/cancelled altogether so I’d have the opportunity to get help in network. Talkspace removed that chance for me to do so. I was stripped of the choice of how I was going to pay and what I was willing to pay. They just charged me with no heads up BEFOREHAND. So I’m beyond dissatisfied, I’m disgusted with Talkspace.

I qualified for a 5 week free therapy session. I was super excited and had a list of everything I wanted to cover written out. In the app it says fill out info and your therapist would reach out within 24-72 hours. I waited two days, messaged them asking if I qualified, and two days later after still getting no response requested a new therapist. Found a new one I was hopeful for, just to have to wait a lengthy time for responses. I eventually contacted customer support to see if this was even legit then they directly contacted the therapist, THEN I got a reply. I was still hopeful, but then became disappointed and pissed when I was stood up on our appointment after sending her my list and her saying "Thanks for sharing". They don't take your serious. Second and LAST time I will attempt to seek help. They just want a paycheck, they don't want to actually help those seeking assistance.

I am a patient of talkspace and I was skeptical at first but I have to say I tried 1 therapist did not find the connection with her and changed therapist. I now found the more caring, responsive, loving therapist I have ever encountered Qyonna Grady. Has been my therapist in alabama for almost a year. She is responsive when I text or need an emergency appt. I suffer from anxiety and always anxious she comes to my rescue even on days off. I cannot say enough about her. Yes I love my therapist and can't survive without her. Thank you.

I've tried talk space not once but twice, and both times, I was left disappointed. Alot of the therapist had terrible reviews when I looked them up. One lady even had a whole article written about her and her treatment of patients. The therapist are mediocre to say the least and lack empathy. I didn't feel they even listened or cared, didn't give good/ relevant advice. Better help isn't the greatest but it's 10x better than talk space. At least on better help platform you can change therapist. TalkSpace gives you the same people to chose from over and over again. If you are in need of a good therapist Psychology Today is probably the best. Don't waste your time or money on Talkspace. I finally found someone through Psychology Today for online therapy and I am relieved. Talkspace and their providers just made me feel more distressed and the whole experience was a nightmare.

I found talk space per my employers EAP program. I have had issues finding a qualified local resource to work with. Talkspace made it easy to locate and engage with a processional. now a few months using it I am overall happy , the platform can be a bit finicky . My biggest complain is when scheduling a session, you need to make sure you schedule, then confirm. if you don't hit confirm , well.
