Not able to hear therapist at all
The platform was allowing audio and video from my side but was only allowing video from my therapist's side. We managed with me speaking and she typing and making exaggerated mouth movements & expressions. This meant that I needed to keep flipping screens from the video to another open tab that had the messaging part of Talkspace. Edited on 2/13/25: My therapist and I figured out that it was because I was using Firefox. I switched to Chrome and it worked perfectly.

Talkspace works easy verifying with my insurance and great platform
Talkspace works easy verifying with my insurance and several of my friends love the easy access for video or audio on the portal. Omar Bryan is one of the best advisor on here for NY - he makes you feel comfortable in every session and great dealing with anxiety, work and personal life

My Talkspace therapist truly listens to me. He’s insightful and has helped me understand why I respond the way I do in stressful or challenging situations. By evaluating my life experiences and clearly summarizing them, he’s paved the way for me to start moving forward – and quickly, too. I’ve been in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy throughout my entire adult life, alongside mental health medications, but hands down, he’s the most action-oriented therapist I’ve ever had. I've had a hard time finding a…
I've had a hard time finding a Therapist that is human. I don't think a client wants a Therapist to nod, respond with uh ha, or yes or no. We want a Therapist with feelings, opinions, and thoughts of their own to help guide a client. I found that at in Talkspace.

We could not have our session because…technical difficulties.
We could not have our session because the video and sound was not working for either of us. Everything looked fine on our respective ends, but we kept getting just a black screen with no sound for the other person.

Worst Therapist I've Ever Met With
This was the worst therapy experience I've ever had. Provider asked irrelevant questions even when we provided her with plenty material to discuss, seemed to want to kill time with irrelevant information, and kept checking the clock. Lots of filler words, moved slowly, and was generally totally in outer space. Will never use this provider again.
