Had an appointment with a therapist who supposedly specializes in ADHD. She then told me I talk too much and would need to see a doctor in person. After insurance they charged me $225, which I paid 4 days before it was due after multiple texts and emails demanding payment. 6 weeks later I get a past due bill for another $117.

Do not waste your time. They are a big business with no oversight of their doctors or care for their patients. At my second session they told me they did not want to continue our relationship for various completely bogus reasons, and I paid exactly $305.00 to hear the doctor say that. Total waste of time - run, don't walk away.

I would give 0 star if I could. Had one appointment with a psychiatrist who questioned me for 55 minutes only to tell me that she can’t proceed with treatment until I agree to take a drug test every month, simply because I smoke weed socially/ on occasion. She refused to treat me and wasted an hour of my time. The WORST part and the reason I’m writing this review is because after the initial appointment I received a bill for $359! I had already submitted my insurance when I took the appointment and then called to resubmit it again. No response back other than an email saying my ticket was closed. I did this entire cycle again in the month of February. Now it’s March and I got another bill in the mail, I call and they tell me that I had a deductible for my insurance. Mind you I have already found another psychiatrist through skypiatry and am being billed my $25 copay per my insurance. CLEARLY they are coding the visits incorrectly and have no idea what they’re doing. I’m on hold with an agent now and am refusing to hang up, since they said I could call back at the next billing cycle once I get another bill. They have escalated my ticket to the billing department and I guess I will see in a few days if the issue is resolved. You’ve been warned!

Avoid at all costs. This company is a scam. I was charged $252 for 20 minutes of medicine management. I was told that I was in line for therapy. Three 20 minute sessions were over $800.00. The customer service for billing was not able to answer any questions. How can you pay over $800.00 and not receive at least one minute of therapy. When I saw the so called "psychiatrist", she was asking me questions on my initial 2 visits and the reading questions off a website. I saw these generic questions before from various websites. The review previously posted is exactly what I went through. Please please take my word for this. This company is a scam. There are people out there that seriously need help. To play with people suffering from mental health is nothing short of souless. I hope you enjoy my 800.00 and sleep like a baby because now I am worse off.

Talkiatry has got to have the most predatory billing practices I've ever had the displeasure of seeing first hand. I had a twenty minute call for medication management and was charged over $340! AFTER INSURANCE! I have called and emailed to dispute my bill and have yet to receive a response other than "your bill is correct". They coded my visit as $220 for medication management and $120 for "psychotherapy". First of all, $220 for medication management is ludicrous. Second of all, I did not ask for, nor receive psychotherapy. I have a separate therapist that I speak with regularly. I have been trying to dispute this portion of the bill for months now and have received no support or communication from this sham of a company. Stay far away unless you want to pay $340 a month for a doctor to say: "these pills good? Ok, see you next month".

They do not disclose their costs anywhere on their website and if you ask how much it costs before you see a psychiatrist, you will not get a straight answer. The straight answer is that the "minimum" cost for a consultation visit is 305$ A follow up visit is at minimum $230. Even if you don't speak to a doctor for a full hour you will still get charged this. My consultation was only 35min. and never in my mind would a 35 min very basic talk with a psychiatrist cost me 305$ we didn't even get into anything deep, I was basically being asked questions straight off a page. The reason they gave me as to why it was so expensive was that they recommend being in network with your provider so the insurance pays most of the bill. Well mine didn't because I haven't met my deductible yet and I got stuck with a hefty bill AND can't afford to get any further treatment at this cost.

All they do is cancel your scheduled appointments and don't tell you why they had to cancel. Do not waste your time with this service. In fact, I've pretty much given up on online-therapy because it feels like all online clinicians are flakes who aren't taking it seriously.
