great post-selling!!!!

I am so happy with this at first I fault it was a scam but it’s not it just the PayPal and the emailing that gets me worried but my experience has been great my part come fast I ordered again then my package said it got delivered but it has been so emails smart trike then no problem at all sent me a new one and that come fast as well very happy and defo be ordering again if need more for my smart trike

I have had on going issues, starting from canopy not fitting into the slot (they sent a replacement) then the front wheel only wanting to go either straight or left, just wouldn't turn right! Then the break lever not working! We were sent out a new trike which we received today, only to find yet another problem. The trike handle will not lift!!! I have filmed the problem and emailed to customer service, waiting for response. This is beyond frustrating! Such an expensive product but manufactured so poorly! At this rate I rather just receive a full refund and buy a trike from elsewhere! Update: I am aware you have to push the metal pin in and pulling up the parent handle at the same time, despite doing that it still doesn't lift! Hence the poor review. Anyhow, customer service have contacted me and are sending out a new trike, here's hoping there's no further problems.

UPDATE FOLLOWING smarTrike response to my review - claimed to have sent me an email to help resolve the issue. No email received yet. Orignal review: We bought our SmarTrike back in March and whilst the bike looked great and our little boy loves it as owners we've become increasingly frustrated with it. Firstly the brake kept sticking and was really difficult to get off. Then it randomly started to just come on as you were walking. The immediate solution to try and fix this involves taking one of the wheels off the trike and forcing the brake off. This isn't helpful when you have a small child in the trike and is even more challenging if you are on your own on a busy street when you need to focus on where they are and how to fix the trike. We contacted support who shared a useful video on how to fix the problem but in all honesty it still sticks quite a lot and is really difficult to get off when on therefore I have no confidence in using the brake. Then there is the parent/child control wheel which means you can have it in a mode where the child steers or one where the parent push has steering. This also randomly changes as you are pushing them along and you find you either veer off out of control (which is also dangerous if you are on a busy street) or you are fighting a toddler to get it in a straight line. Again there is a video on how to fix this. Finally the seat is now very wobbly and lopsided meaning it looks like our little boy is about to fall out or it is going to snap at any point. I've not checked what I need to do to fix this yet or if there is a video but in order to use this trike be prepared to have to do a lot of maintenance. We have had this trike for just over three months and it is supposed to last us until our son is three but I feel it will be confinided to a skip well before then. So if you want a fairly cool-looking trike that is maintenance time-intensive and feels like it is either going to fall apart or end up dragging you into the road because of poor brakes and steering then this is for you. If not I recommend saving your money.

Thanks to Mace for promptly replacing the faulty part which made the trike unusable at first. Now that it is put together and stays together, my daughter loves riding her smartrike.

These Trikes are AMAZING. Cute, durable, colorful. Purchased for twins for their first birthday. Note: guideline is 15 mo. I believe. There's a fold down landing spot for their feet as they are too young for pedals, a way to lock the steering feature and a handle for an adult to steer and push. All that can come off later so that the trike can be used with pedals independently. Nice safety features. Cost was great and I did need to contact customer support which was also great. I highly recommend these - would buy again if the opportunity arrises.

We recently received a smartrike as a gift for our daughter. I had put it all together when I realized there was no seat in the box. I emailed the customer support team and received a prompt response from Ira. Ira was super helpful and professional. The problem was easily fixed with no run around and the seat is on the way. Awesome customer service.
