We bought a 2018 model second hand and overall are happy with it but there were some teething troubles including that we couldn't keep it from unfolding when it was folded up. After searching for instructions which I found but for the more up to date model and looking on YouTube I reached out using their online form and got a reply quickly asking for photos and more details. I sent those and again got a quick reply explaining two of the issues and that it sounded like the third one (the folding) was due to age. The CS offered to see if a strap accessory to keep it closed was still available to buy and for €20 postage (not sure how much the item itself cost) but that prompted me to find an old luggage strap I had and used that instead. It's still a good product but confusing in places and disappointing to have not aged well and to not have a brake, which would be useful but wasn't fitted on older models.

Buen día, el producto SmarTrike 4 en 1 es genial para los niños, pero tengo un problema, el accesorio plástico que sujeta la rueda se partió y no se donde puedo conseguirlo o a que Centro de Servicio en Colombia puedo acudir para arreglarlo.

Seems a great product so far only thing is to fold it you have to remove the front wheel and the button to do so is so stiff it’s painful to push. I have to use a slat of wood to press on so it doesn’t hurt my skin! Is this normal or a fault in design?

Hello guys, I bought a SmarTrike from SmarTrike website so when I opened I seen some problems with front wheel, I contacted SmarTrike and I sent them a video and pictures about problem with my trike and after couple of days I received an email : Dear sir , Thank you for your patience, It was decided to exchange the whole item for you as there could be an internal assembly issue that is not letting the front wheel move freely. Therefore, we would like to book a courier pick up, for this, please confirm which day of the week we could book this. Have a great day! Best Regards, David Customer Experience smarTrike After a lot of emails sent back to them with days when courier can come to pick up our trike I haven’t received anything back so I sent them a few emails again to see what happened and nothing back. I call customer service I give them all details and experience number which is 00083367 and they told me to wait 1business day to to be contacted and nothing again. I made my send call after couple of days and same story. I decided to put my solicitor to deal with them because is not possible to purchase an item and my baby can’t used. Next time I will think twice before I purchase anything from this company. Thanks Septimiu After I posted this review with 1Star, funny enough a really nice person named Ira, from customer service contact me and I was asked if I wanted a refund or a new SmarTrike so I decided to give another chance and I said a SmarTrike so after couple of days I received a new SmarTrike and old one was collected. In all this time when they processed this replacement I was informed all the time with replacement status and this is how a customer service should be. I decided to change my rating from 1 star to 3 star but only because I was treated like every customer should be when they purchase something online and they need something after sale. Thank you Ira!
