I bought a simple human sensor can and only used it for one month it stopped working .I have 5 years of warranty and no luck contacting customer service.Only provide you with text messages, chat and email and they don’t even answer back.

Misjudged the replacement trashcan lid that I ordered. Went to replace and recognized I was outside of the return window and acknowledge this but requested an exception. This was denied, I know policies exist for a reason but $200 trashcans need better CX.

I had an auto renew subscription set every 6 months. I got an email at 3am 6 Feb 2024. They were letting me know I had an auto shipment set to go out. I didn't receive this email till 8am 6 Feb 2024. At which time I logged in and canceled the auto shipment. I didn't receive an email back till 7pm 6 Feb 2024, stating I had to cancle my order within 10 minutes of getting the confirmation. Who is up at 3am to get that email. Also, why did it take almost 12 hours to get a response. In that amount of time the order could have been canceled.

The mirrors with sensors start failing after a while. They dont work without the charger and do't turn on even if youe nose tuch the glass. on another hand the light goes on for hours when I am not near. There is no person you can talk about the issue ("human" part of the name disappeared already ) because the phone numbers I could find buried in a web simply disconnect by itself , so it is not "simple" to connect and get help or advice. I thing this trend of eliminating phones and human contact has to be stopped. I am not willing to talk to AI or spend hours to chat . Overall Simple Human do not deliver on many fronts, especially on human part. My trash cans rust, soap dispensers are not that great ( I have several). This company is going down the drain , and very soon people will stop buying this super expensive but substandard products.

My ST7043 rechargeable soap pump stopped working after less than one month. Wasted money and time during the repairing trial.

A waste! Do not waste your money on simple human, as you will regret it. I had purchased my 58 L rectangular trash can, and have been having issues with it; but kept it as long as it was still working. The lid had finally completely shut off, and now I have to resort to manually open the lid to use my expensive trash can. I finally reached out to simple human after trying different things without success. They had mentioned my warranty expired on 07/31/2023. My lid had completely shut off around November 2023, so just a few months after the warranty expired. They offered me 20%off to purchase a new one at $250? Why would I spend so much on a useless product? Makes no sense! You will not be getting a dime from me Simple Human, especially for a trash can that would not even last 3 years. I will be getting a much more effective, useful forever lasting trash can for way less. I was promised quality, and this was not delivered. Ridiculous!

Horrible customer service, received defective items twice in a row. Very disappointed.

Had a sensor mirror for 7 years which has now developed a temperamental sensor. Emailed the company to arrange a repair to which they replied they don't do them and offered me 10% off my next purchase. I reminded them of their boasts about sustainability on their homepage but they're not interested. App associated with the mirror never works on androids and is temperamental with apple devices. See 1* reviews on the app stores. We're talking about a mirror that costs £200! Appaling customer service wouldn't recommend
