Same as everyone else, felt like they misrepresented items. Purchased some antique books- of course had 100 years of wear on them, but they were depicted as whole, intact books. Received them with the covers torn off and pages multiple pages detached, in random order so it didn't happen in shipping. No description that they were that damaged. Purchased jewelry before that, missing stones and etc. Jewelry was positioned in pictures in ways that didn't show the imperfections and wasn't described. There are consumer protection regulations and I feel like Goodwill is violating these. There is a significant handling fee per item, the items should be thoroughly inspected and described. Won't purchase from again, I'm not too interested in even going back to the stores.

I agree with other reviewers here---the revised website is completely awful. Not sure who talked them into letting them do the overhaul, but it has taken them back years as far as technology and design. Every time I try to go to the next page, it takes forever to get there, and then says "Oops, product not found!" Really? How is someone supposed to shop on a website that doesn't work, much less WIN an auction? And the shipping fees? Outrageous!! USPS rates are seemingly fair, but seems most of the Goodwill sites are using FedEx now, and their shipping costs are just sky-high! I HATE THE CHANGES!!

I loved shopping here before the site changed. Completely sucks now. The nostalgia of a thrift store or yard sale can take you to another place and time. Items were uniquely listed and not completely sorted. Golf clubs are now mostly sold one at a time. No more hidden deals. Why did they change the zoom on items. Why does everything listed seem like it's from a central location. All the same camera angles and white backgrounds. I feel like I'm at Wal-Mart or shopping on Amazon now. Before the change I purchased over 100 items. Now only a handful. The geniuses behind this change took away an original gem and turned it into just another online corporate run profit seeking look alike. I will give it some time to make the fixes.

The shipping is very expensive and weight is incorrect on listing. For example a blouse i purchased is 8 ounces but listed as weighing 2 lbs. The cost to ship is $7.94 with a $3.75 handling fee. The auction closed and item paid 5 days ago and not shipped yet. I am still waiting for an item shipped 12/28. The tracking is delayed and FedEx posted "no scheduled delivery at this time." I requested a trace from the San Diego store but the customer service tickets are closed. Needless to say I will not be purchasing from goodwill.com again.

Shopgoodwill has absolutely ruined their auction website. Since they rolled out the new site, I have missed several items I was interested in bidding on due to glitches that did not allow me bid before the auction ended. It was never a great site, but now it’s truly awful. Who are they hiring to do the site architecture?? It’s extremely disappointing. Please fix it!!!!!!

The website was just "upgraded"... It was fairly usable before, now, it is like going back to 1998 and using a dial-up connection. Every time you hit the back button, EVERYTHING starts over. Cumbersome drudgery would be a good description on what it is like to use the "new" website, which was apparently donated along with all of the items they sell. Plus, every mission makes up its own policies. If you've got a problem, don't bother contacting central office. There is no review section for the missions. Consequently, they basically do whatever they want. Most of them are nice and honest, but some are AWFUL. Reno is real bad, and so is the one in Minnesota. Sometimes they hide the damage on items by not taking pics of it, and then they won't take the item back. Often there is NO CARE TAKEN in packaging. They'll just throw an item in a box with plastic wrap around it, I mean, plastic wrap, not bubble wrap or anything. Always use PayPal if you can, at least then you have a chance of opening a dispute when your stuff arrives broken and misrepresented.

Thought it was a place to get a great deal and be able to put a bid but it seems that the site is rigid… was out to out bid on a item and was so weird that o was logged out and couldn’t see the close out item…. This site is all staged.
