Absolutely awful. I used to shop for art on their original site and bought many things easily and smoothly. The 2022 site is complicated and unnavigable. I just tried. I give up. PS Goodwill gets their stuff for free. The executives live like kings. There is something wrong with having an auction site where there may be shill bidding and where people are buying things for too much that they could get for much less in the stores. Shame on you 1000 times, Goodwill.

I just ORDERED a DSLR camera from goodwill and read the listing fully and tonight re-read the listing again and all the sudden not tested was in the listing. I just paid 70 dollars for something not tested? How is this legal? Goodwill should have had that at the start of the listing and purposefully had that condition at the very end which is shady to say the least. As a seller I always state defects in the beginning of the listing in bold. Not at the end of the listing in small print. It's shameful that this corporation which is listed as non profit is indeed all about profit and a class action law suit needs to be created to force Goodwill to start acting as a non profit instead of taking advantage of Thier status and the consumer by selling products that are of not guaranteed working order so that they may save cost on garbage cost by making up the cost by shamefully misleading the hard working consumer. The bottom line stop selling products that do not work unless you state that fact in large bold legible print at the start of your listing. Most are not use to buying a product that may or may not work. And I think you realize this and are taking advantage by your no return policy, so hopefully the camera works because as a student 70 dollars is important to me. But lesson learned I now know not to buy from goodwill online. What a scam

If you bid on something and are about to get a good deal, all of a sudden within the last minute the bid will go up to 1 penny below your max OR if you are really low on the bid price it will close with you as a high bid but when you check after the auction, you were miraculously outbid THEN a week later the same location will have the same unique item with the same description and the same pics up for auction again. Then IF you happen to win the auction your shipping and handling will increase as much as or more than 50^ over the shipping "estimate AND, as the picture shows, they blatantly bill you for 8 lbs on a 1 lb item. I called the USPS and they have no idea how it can legitimately be done because the item is weighed and billed by the Post Office so the only conclusion is, Goodwill is pocketing the extra money. The FTC says they are going to open a case and email me a case number because there is no way possible this can be done, ESPECIALLY since Goodwill is a 501c organization. Well, after looking on this review, there is no where to post the shipping charge pic.

ShopGoodwill is now gone from my shopping sites. I have had terrible a experience in the past but thought oh that was a one-off issue, (an old tube radio came in the mail in a small refrigerator box when the radio was a desktop model) when I opened the box the old radio was in shambles. I documented the whole thing and got absolutely nothing from Goodwill. The last two times I won a bid and then never got notified. I caught the first one and paid. For the second one, I was over the days and couldn't bid on any more products. I NEVER had failed to pay for any item from them before. So today was the last day.

Every "improvement" or change to the site seems to make it worse. It is so glitchy, you can never really count on it. Especially when bidding. The site lags and hangs, it's just atrocious. The other thing is, previously you could seach by item description, now you still CAN, but, it doesn't work. It does not search the title description at all, ONLY the title. I have asked them to fix it many times and they don't even bother to answer me.

I wouldn't even give it a star!!! Spent years shopping GW online. Years of happy joyful hunting and thrifting for wonderful items. THIS NEW WEBSITE IS A JOKE! AN ABSOLUTE KILL SWITCH! I can't even do a search for something basic and it either takes forever to load, closes suddenly or sends me back to a prior search. FORGET trying to zoom in on an item. So long Goodwill....forever!! You lost a loyal and happy customer.

These people cant pack a package properly. Plus they cant count nor spend the time to verify all the piece are present. How hard is it to count then compare that number with whats on the box. I realize they dont have all the time in the world but just by looking they would have noticed a major piece missing.

I've bought a hundred or more items on the Goodwill Online Auction (Shopgoodwill.com) and in the past have had some great deals on items you really don't see everyday. Lately I have noticed that when I put my max bid on something the, price will go up to $1 below my max bid and that's where it will close. As an example; you'll see a $20 bid on an item and there will be no bids up until 2 minutes prior to a closing then all of a sudden 1 person will bid from $21 to $49 and stop because your Max bid is $50. it always ends at $1 below my max bid. Go figure.... Also, their shipping and handling fees are outrageous.. I just won an item that weighs 2 pounds and comes in a small square box and they are charging me for a 12 pound item. I am paying $16.31 plus a $4.50 handling fee for a $61. item!! I am getting tired of this with them
