It's not worth it to sign up and buy something. If your item is 5 bucks and weighs 1 pound, they say it weighs 5 pounds and the shipping then goes higher. They also take days to send your item, mostly a week. Some stores do this, while others don't. On top of that, they don't put measurement details in clothing. I asked what the measurements were on this shirt. They replied, "We are no longer able to provide additional measurements for items that were donated with a size tag" which is dumb. Every auction starts at 9.99, so if you get it for 10 you'll end up paying close to 22-27 for the item because the shipping is outrageous and handling runs 2-5 dollars. Authenticated items has a 9.99 handling fee. I do not understand why they can't be honest about weight of item.They say its determined by Fedex, but I say BS. The best way to go is 1cent shipping that's the only way to get a deal on this site. Sometimes you bid and its blocked, and you lose the item, happened to me a few times.

Terrible customer service Didn't send 1 of the 3 items in lot, the item they didn't send was the reason I bid. After I notified them. They didn't ask what I wanted to do, instead refunded 1/4 of bid. No shopping or handling. Shipping costs are astronomical! I was sent someone else's item, and they didn't bother to reply to my message informing them.

I love them, they in past times have always answered my concerns, and have always been fair, the have just recently, helped me, keep doing good shopgoodwill.?

Each of my experiences has involves me closing out an auction and getting a package only a few days later. Shipping has been surprisingly cheap even for 10-20lb packages. Everything has been in good shape, clean, and intact. Payment process is seamless and the auction process is also fairly seamless, although not quite as sophisticated as eBay's.

They are taking donations, picking the cream of the crop and then selling it at a premium.

Shopgoodwill of Berwyn, PA and some Shopgoodwill has a policy that a signature is required for orders over $100. Is it too much to ask Shopgoodwill and the others to inform their customers of this policy before an order is paid and shipped out instead of finding out later that if no one is at home to receive the package then it will not be delivered? The customers can then provide a work or business address where someone can sign for the package. I understand Shopgoodwill has to protect themselves from packages getting stolen but why not punish the thieves/porch pirates or customers that files false claims instead of punishing all their paying customers. The rules should be change, if the customers paid the shipping cost, the customer should be given the choice if they want a signature or not to receive the package. If Shopgoodwill pays for the shipping costs, then they can make up any rule they want that favors them, it should be as simple as that. Luckily for me, FedEx scheduled a delivery on a Sunday and I can stay at home to receive the package but unfortunately, FedEx did not even bother to ask me for a signature, so much for that store policy.

Hidden damage on items, if customer service decides to answer you, they are no help! They will cancel your account if your 1 day late on a payment and never let you reactivate but will take weeks to send you your item after you pay. Shipping and handling is ridiculously high!

Great for finding the obscure shopgoodwill.com doesn't have a very good search engine. The SAVED feature is kind of a mess. But SGW is a great source for everything under the sun. Its all there. Old toys. Second hand cars. Guitars. Property. Furbies. SGW doesn't allow use of bidding bots like ebay does which is also annoying. Also the shipping and handling are usually way overpriced!!!!
